Disappointing.

I booked this hotel as “luxury” which is not. It was supposed to have a view, which if wasn’t. The hotel is called “Ristorante” but it happens that the restaurant is closed. It is not hotel’s fault, but Booking’s, as it is way overrated in its web. I didn’t even stayed at the hotel, and I lost my money as hotel admin said I had to discuss with Booking instead.

Wonderful location, great rooms

Location is great. The room was a great size and bathroom was clean with excellent facilities. The breakfast was standard Italian buffet which was included and great to start the day with.

Noise was a bit of an issue - my room was on the first floor and meant I could hear noise in the restaurant/bar at night and the sound in the corridors echoed with bags and people moving around at night.

A memorable few days staying in this lovely hotel in the beautiful Portovenere.

We received a very warm welcome on arrival and check-in was quick. All the bedrooms seemed to have sea views and we loved the large under-cover terrace with tables, chairs and sofas and again, beautiful views across the bay to Palmeria Island. The breakfast room had the same wonderful views across the bay and the choice of food was excellent - egg, bacon, fruit, cheeses, croissants, cake, etc. etc. The hotel is in an excellent sea-front location - it's a lovely 5 minute walk, shaded by trees, on the wide path alongside the water to the marina, shops and masses of restaurants. The hotel has a lovely homely, relaxed feel.

We can't think of anything we didn't like about the Albergo Ristorante Paradiso Hotel.

Very good

The hotel is located a bit outside of Porto Venere (but still in walking distance!) which is a big advantage as parking is very difficult in Porto Venere. Make sure to reserve parking when booking a room. The breakfast room has a gorgeous view over the sea and the breakfast itself offers everything you need for a good start to the day.

beautiful view, the room was nice and light, great location, beautiful terrace.

The taxi from La Spezia was expensive and needed to be paid in cash, however, we still appreciated the hotel arranging this for us.

A wonderful place to stay in Porto Venere

This hotel was very close to the hub of the activity. Close to the ferry and all the shops/restauran

The breakfast was fantastic along with the staff

The weather was extremely hot so the air conditioning was appreciated although it had to work hard. Only one person was able to speak English there. And he only worked part of the time.

Beautiful view from our room, and great location.

Organisation of breakfast. One lady serving several tables. She was excellent but could have had some self service at breakfast. Also could have had some fruit or berries

Stunning beautiful hotel with amazing views with direct access to the beach

The view was out of this world! We could lie in bed and look out at the beautiful harbour - stunning views. Would highly recommend our room. Loads of space.

The breakfast was a little slow due to Covid but maybe extra staff might help this?

top location. Atmospheric lobby and terrace parking service

on the breakfast table we had dry bread and marmalade. a friendly woman brought us coffee. so we ate dry bread and drank our cofee. nobody told us we had to order explicitly fromaggio, prosciutto, fruit etc (??) -

Fabrizio the "director"... The worse manager ever...

The waiters and the rest of the stuff... Poor them working with such an unpleasant "manager"

The "director" named Fabrizio has been super rude. Very unkind person. One of those that you would never ever meet in your life.

Amazing with a perfect view.

At the first day we encountered a little problem and it was resolved in an excellent manner. Our stay was incredible, the location is perfect. Just a short walk to the beaches as well to the centre. The most amazing thing was the perfect view from the rooms or from the beautiful terrace at breakfast. Would recommend and would come back!

Parking full, had to find a parking space on my own (not an easy task in portovenere). No Seaview for rooms on lower floors, although advertised as seaview rooms.
