it’s close to the medina where you can walk for taking you about 40 minutes to 1 hour. it has a decent pool

A lot of things including the poor facilities and mismanagement of everything. Dinner quality is low for charging guests 20 Euro an hour.

The only minor negative was the location, being a little way out of town. But taxis are really cheap and plentiful

The location was spot on, it was very near from the city centre and all the clubs.

The swimming pool’s heater wasn’t working so the water was too cold to swim.

a very nice rooftop swimming pool and that's about all I can say about this hotel. bathroom dirty, lots of dogs barking in the area and all loud to hear at night. average breakfast for a 4 star hotel and no drinks with dinner

Nice looking hotel outside the Medina. About 8 min drive to Medina. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in Morocco, I give this one a solid 8/10. The restaurant was not excellent. The menu is limited. The location of the hotel requires a car. We had a driver during our whole stay, so the distance from the Medina was not an issue for us. The A/C system was OFF but you really didn't need a/c. There was loud construction and noise from 7 am. It sounds bad but the hotel is nice, if you want a very nice room outside the Medina for cheap? I recommend it ONLY if you have a car or driver.

The location was outside the Medina. Loud noises (construction) early AM. No a/c. The rooms, while comfortable, are showing their age/use. I had the towel bar fall to the floor, for example. Small things but all in all, I recommend it IF you have a car or driver. Restaurant.

Had a pleasant stay at the imperial plaza and spa. Definitely more of a 3* then a 4* by UK standarders. On arrival the receptionist was looking for us paying in eours in cash at no point in the booking process was this advertised. The figure quote in eours was also much higher than the cost in the GBP or Moroccan Dirham even taking into account the exchange rate. We had both Moroccan Dirham in cash & visa cards we were told thare card reader was broken they eventually accepted payment in Dirham. We also asked about the safe in the room and were told we would need to go back to reception in the next morning to get it & we were charged for 3 nights of safe rental instead of 2. The next morning we did this & they sent the housekeepers to activate it for us. Not a huge issue for us as we checked in around 9pm and weren't going back that evening. The room was spotless & comfortable however there is poor sound proofing. a lot of noise coming from other rooms and outside at times. The shower was was warm and powerful but was leaking at the bottom of the head. There's a fridge in the room in a cupboard that forms a part of a desk it was difficult to access as the cupboard door would not open fully due to it's possession next one of the beds. There were 3 plug sockets in the room but 2 of them were at floor level behind the desk. The breftast buffy was a small selection of pastries and 3 trays of consisting of scrambled eggs and 2 other dish nothing was labelled & no allergy information given. The scrambled eggs were also stone cold the morning that I had them. They also offered a selection of breads & cereals as well as mint tea,orrrage Juice and coffee/hot chocolate from a machine. The pool area was undergoing some renovations work during our stay but was still a nice area to sit an enjoy the view of the mountains.

Anyone visiting should avoid the " taxi" silver people carriers that sit opposite the hotel we took one and instead of taking us to our destination he took us to his friends shop and tried to get us to go in with his friend. Every time on existing the hotel they tried to get us to go with them after the first experience we refused. And would either book a taxi through an app or wait on a registered yellow taxi passing.

It was horrible. They were changing for safe, gym , $3 for small coffee. They charged for breakfast which was an optional. I never signed for it. They refused to give me my money back. They were blaming booking com. I called booking. Com they sent me the receipt shows they didn't charge me for the breakfast. I will never go back there or recommend anyone to stay there. Fist time Morocco staying there was horrible.
