The staff were very helpful and accommodating, listening to my needs and responding accordingly. My son had left 2 of his favourite soft toys in the room when we left and I was so grateful to the helpful and honest staff for contacting us to arrange for them to be returned to us. Thank you! My son was delighted and I was relieved!

Wide choice at breakfast and more than sufficient for most appetites. On site parking, dog friendliness and reasonable prices are what makes this our hotel of choice when we stay in Bristol.
Would have preferred a room at ground level rather than top floor as there is no lift. But we booked at short notice so it was to be expected that a room lower down was not available.

Good value for money,lovely staff
Property a bit dated, bathtub peeling off, small dining room

Location, friendly staff, breakfast good, free wifi. Close to University.
Room was tired, no mattress protector as mattress was stained, same for pillows, shower needed re grouting and new silicone around shower tray as looked tired. Bathroom floor was not level.

Staff were fab, engaging, polite, helpful and always had a welcome smile and friendly greeting.
Breakfast wasn't available due to staffing shortages but £16 per couple per day was refunded.
Parking on secure site was available £8 per day. First come 1st served basis was a welcome bonus as the parking around bristol is expensive and limited in Clifton.
Bedrooms had a very good welcome tray, tea; assortment, coffee, hot chocolate milk biscuits and fresh fruit...if in season head out to the hotel's carpark when a delious, prolific fruiting plum tree stands.
Great location. Easy walking into clifton village, Bristol centre and local neighbourhoods.
Would definately visit again and stay at the Washington.
Keep up the great work folks.
Although the place is basic and a little tired, it's spotlessly clean, excellent value for money and in a great location

The location is superb. The hotel can accommodate special requests upon booking. The kitchen staff are hard working and extremely friendly. The breakfast is delicious with vegetarian options. Good value for money and perfect location. Almost all reception team members were cheerful and helpful. Housekeeping accommodated our requests and were happy to help.
Mattresses aren’t that comfortable and small double bed for a couple is a challenge.
The room wasn’t that spacious and neither was the bathroom.

Bed was super soft, very comfy :) Breakfast was great, very polite friendly staff. The location being away from everything meant it was decently quiet, good for rest..
The room was quite small, but this is maybe just a cultural difference for me. The location was slightly away from everything, I was not a fan of the church/party music.. vagrants and teenagers on the street were intimidating, but the cops were doing a good job of cleaning them up :)

Lovely and cosy weekend in Bristol! Uber is cheap to town center and there's a museum right next door! As well as a few cute places to drink.
Some of the furniture could definitely be revamped but overall, very clean and cosy.

Helpful friendly staff Good quick service at breakfast. Very good value for money. Huge breakfast and takeaway option very useful Quiet road but handy for the buses. Within easy walking distance of Clifton gorge and also central attractions like the museum and Cathedral. Accessible by bus from the railway station. Enjoyed two meals at the related hotel, the Clifton restaurant.
Heat in to come on for the morning shower. The small breakfast room was a slight problem. Probably folk don't keep to their allotted slots!

The Staff were great.
Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.
Staff gave us a portable heater for the room after I complained there was no heating on.
It smelt of damp as soon as we walked in the room.
There was damp on the wall above the window.
The windows were old and full of condensation.
The room was freezing. Radiators were not on in the room or the bathroom.
The shower head was loose and did not stay at the right angle.
The TV did not work properly. The aerial was loose, tried to adjust, but only improved things slightly.
The walls are very thin and can hear the neighbours
You can hear the traffic and street noise very clearly.
Drilling going on in the hotel in the morning, which woke us up.

Breakfast was good.
Overall state of the room. Dirty windows, ripped and mould stained net-curtains ... No space in room.

Great location - plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. Room was clean and the breakfast decent.

Bed was comfortable and clean. Tea supplies etc were good.Breakfast included and continental. Parking was good around the back in private area once registered.
Staff friendly and helpful especially at breakfast time. It was very warm and for the price served my needs.
No where to park while establishing room and private parking facilities.
Listed building so noisey floor boards and can hear voices through walls.
Decorating was poor in bathroom and there was mold on the windows..
TV reception poor so limited TV to watch.
