Rooms are nice.

Gym is by the pool area which makes it quite hot to work out. Breakfast doesn't contain any European food. Staff didn't speak English at all.

It is difficult to ask anything.

The breakfast was good. Big variety and tasty. The room had lots of space. Big bathroom with a nice shower. Personal was friendly. Room was quite although facing to the street. I haven't been disturbed by noises during the night.

When I first entered the room the smell inside was somewhat strange. At first I thought someone had smoked inside the room, but the reception told me, that all hotel rooms in Beijing were non-smoking. After opening the windows (positive: it was possible to open the windows) the smell went away. Worst thing and reason for down-grading: wireless LAN inside the room was terribly slow. Just surfing the internet was ok, but accessing my companies intranet was almost impossible. I had to book several mobile network day passes instead, which caused around 18 EUR extra costs. During my stay I noticed at the reception one person with good English skills. Understandably that single person was not always present, wherefore at times communication was impaired. At check-out it took me like 10 min to get my companies name and street on the invoice (and it is still written incorrect).
