Very enjoyable, friendly staff and Malay curry excellent.

Breakfast excellent. Accommodation was good.

The kudu steak a bit tough. The veg curry to many pulses, thought more vegetables.

Central to adventure activities,

breakfast good choices bed comfortable aircon heater excellent great access to hikes and canopy tour, national park

shower head terrible, spurted not sprayed. Room lighting bed lights extremely bright 100W TV only 4 channels Floor damp Vegetarian options really need improving and main meals need to adhere to what the menu promises.

A definite place to stay!

We loved the view of the mountain and how cosy the restaurant was where we ate breakfast and supper. It was intimate and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional too. We enjoyed that the room was neat and had heating especially for our 2 months old baby when it was time to bath.

I didn't like that the shower over flowed a bit and made the bathroom a bit wet.

Exceptional

Unfortunately, we only stayed for 1 night, but we've been to the restaurant before - EXCELLENT food and friendly waiters all around. Even when we stayed somewhere else - this was where we had our meals. The breakfast is really delicious and well prepared. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The rooms were clean and beautiful, with comfortable beds. Can't wait to visit again.

absolutely wonderful

It is so quaint and old worldly- like stepping back in time (with all the modern cons) The King size bed was sooo comfortable

It's a beautiful setting. The restaurant is good and eating in the old pub is special

We stayed in the stables which was ok but very basic. When we booked it was not clearly indicated so our expectation was a little different as we have stayed at Tsitsikamma before and loved our room. A clearer indication of specifically which room we booking would have managed our expectation better

The setting and village atmosphere of the Inn were wonderful. The staff was friendly and the breakfast fantastic.

The room type (barn room) was small and not wonderful. l would chose a different room type next time.

This was our second visit to this establishment and I believe was not as good as our first visit.

Checkin,location.

Dining.Too spicy food, returned meal. Also one of party was ill during the night. Plumbing in room was insufficient. Shower stopped running half way through.

Nice surroundings. Good location. Nice breakfast.

Different menus in the pub to that of the restaurant would have been nice. Arrived late in the dark. No assistance given to locate the room. Found it more by chance than guidance.

Delightful setting & good restaurant

The way the rooms were set around a “village green”. The picturesque setting of the property. The restaurant & it’s decor. Being able to park near the room.

There was a broken window in the front entrance door & the frame to this had rotted. Need to close curtains for privacy as room opened onto common parts. The tv was inside a cupboard and could only be watched from one of the beds.

Centrally located ensemble of historic buildings

The Tsitsikamma Village Inn is a historic ensemble (19th century) and most unique. It is well maintained and just beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast (buffet) was very good. It‘s in the middle of Storms River Village with restaurants & shops nearby.

not ideal for long stay

it looks attractive from the outside and the staff was friendly. The Christmas lunch was not what we expected, they could have prepared a stew instead of cold meats

the bathrooms need an upgrade and the rooms we were given all had single beds. no bar fridge or microwave in the rooms.

This is an hotel we have returned to over the years for its location and welcoming environment.

Excellent breakfast. Evening meals in the Pub were very good and ambience good. Staff as on previous visits were pleasant and helpful.

peaceful stay with great food in a very pretty village

Very pretty, easy to find just off the main road, the room was lovely and very well set up. The breakfast was amazing!

lovely stay close to TsiTsikamma national park

location close to Tsitsikamma national park (15 minute drive), lovely setting, restaurants close by (pizza place across the road is great).

the pool was not the best and the playground is only suitable for older kids (5+).
