Bien, pero hay mejores en Madrid

La ubicación era buenísima, estaba en una calle tranquila y el barrio tenía cafeterías, restaurantes, cercano a la locomoción. La habitación estaba limpia y acorde a la foto.

El no contar con elevador afecta bastante sobretodo si vienes cargado. Al preguntar si había alguien que pudiera ayudarme, la recepcionista respondió un tanto déspota. Faltan servicios básicos y arreglar ciertas cosas como el sujetador de la ducha, ya que me tuve que bañar todo el rato sujetándolo con la mano, el techo del baño estaba roto, me dieron un secador quemado y roto, además de no contar con plancha.

Een erg eenvoudige kamer in een bruisende buurt

Het hotel bevindt zich in een bruisende, alternatieve buurt vol winkeltjes met vintagekleding, platenzaken, bars, koffietentjes, restaurants en clubs en is op loopafstand van het stadshart. Ook zijn er verschillende metrostations in de buurt. Binnen 45 minuten ben je bijvoorbeeld al bij het vliegveld. Het personeel is vriendelijk, maar spreekt geen Engels. Met Google Translate is dat echter geen probleem.

De kamer was erg summier. Er staat zelfs geen glas in de badkamer om wat water te drinken. Naast het bed zijn nog de schroeven te zien van waar ooit nachtkastjes hebben gehangen. Verder is alleen via een smal gangetje van amper een meter toegang tot een raam. De lattenbodem van het bed was alles behalve comfortabel, zodat ik het matras op de grond heb gelegd om te kunnen slapen. Tot slot lag de hele kamer inclusief badkamer onder de donkere gekrulde en/of lange haren. Het leek wel alsof er al sinds tijden niet was gestofzuigd. Het hotel heeft geen locatie om te ontbijten. Iedere ochtend krijg je bij de receptie een visitekaartje mee dat je bij twee eettentjes om de hoek in kunt leveren voor een simpel ontbijt (een normale kop koffie, een glas versgeperste jus en een baguette met een tomatensmeersel of boter met jam óf croissant of chocoladebroodje). Op zich niets mis mee, maar bij de boeking wordt van deze beperkte keuze geen melding gemaakt. Als je een iets uitgebreider ontbijt verwacht, valt het nogal tegen. Gelukkig vind ik luxe niet zo belangrijk. Een schoon en comfortabel verblijf echter wel.

Position and cleanliness was very good

The staff was super unfriendly especially a lady that didn’t let us leave our luggages after check-out. She invented that there was not space and the time to leave the luggage was over.

The location is great, near to everything you need to visit. I found everything to be clean and well maintained.

There was a strong smell of toilets in the corridors on the first floor, so it would be beneficial to add extract ducts close to the ceiling in order to avoid this problem.

Only location, very close the a central metro station, walking distance to gran Via but on a silent Side street

Despite giving my company information and e-mails and reminding this twice after not having, the hotel didn't give me any İnvoice. İf you want somewhere with breakfast; Do not book this hotel. Because they charge 8 € for the breakfast and give a visit card where the exterior cafes can be choosen for the breakfast. However when you go there, you see that the maximum product values to purchase can be 6,5 €. İt is cheating. This hotel i believe should be investigated financially where this breakfast money goes as a part of black market and not to issue any İnvoice Upon customer request despite several reminders.

The staff were very good, they accommodated late luggage storage. Very nice and they speak English.

Great location, but very simple hotel for the price.

There was no breakfast.

I wish a hairdryer was available in the room. I had to request it at reception which made me not use it at all.

Excellent choose. I would visit again.

Great location - quick access to few metro lines, single transfer to the airport, 10 min walk to Plaza de Espana, a lot of bars and restaurants in a walking distance! Great value for money for a hostel.

Neighbours were noisy first two nights ;)

Pleasant

It is a clean, nice place for a short visit. The room was clean, comfortable, the district is very nice, plenty of shops, close to metro.

It was difficult to understand the person who welcomed me as English was not great. The rooms miss a bit of warm light and the A/C is central controlled at the reception.

Good but excpected more.

Location is very close to the cafeterias, shops, metro and Plaza de España. We liked that you can request cleaning every day and they also bring fresh towels. Overall it was quite clean.

You don't recieve the key to the main entrance and the reception is supposed to be open 24/7 to let you enter, but when we arrived at 7a.m. one day there was nobody there to let us in. For the price we payed the rooms could have been furnished more modern and out of three rooms that I booked only one had a balcony.

Excellent location, clean and simple, which is good, but also lack of facilities or any service.

Excellent location, clean and simple. Something similar to an Ibis hotel (of course much more outdated and without the facilities provided by Ibis)

A bit outdated in furniture, but mainly the price is very high for a simple hostel with no facilities. Although it is not necessary since the neighborhood has many bars and cafes, the price is very expensive for what it is.

Disappointing

Location is good.. you can store your luggage the last day for free

Don't stay there.. it is loud. You can hear everything from other rooms....and they lie to you as they shot down the air conditioning that you have already paid for...it's impossible to sleep with the windows open due to noise and smell.. and the room was super hot.. talk to them 4 times and the answer was NO air conditioning... Even if they have charged you for it

Comfortable

The hotel was close to Public transport which was convenient. The room was comfortable and adequate for a short stay. My limited staff contact was effective.

The check in was on the building's third floor and while this physically wasn't a problem it really limited contact with the staff. I had to rask for the air conditioning to be turned on in the room and after a day of almost summer heat it was turned off.

The location is good, close to metro station. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean

The A/C temperature can only be modified by the reception staff, so it was very cold on the 1st night and very warm on the 2nd.. No hairdryer in the bathroom and the toilet was very close to the one side of the wall so wasn’t comfortable at all.

Rooms were clean, and staff polite. Hostel very central only 15 walk from Gran Via, and very close to bars and shops

Superb

The staff was incredibly nice, friendly. The room was good for the price, very clean and spaceful. And the breakfast is very nice, you have to walk to the nearest cafe, but it’s not that far. The food and drinks therw are very good.
