Great value great stay

Great location very clean daily service Staff lovely

Shower leaked not sealed properly although floor towels were always wet they replaced them daily Safe did not work though they tried to fix it

Buena ubicación, personal y habitación excelente.

El alojamiento está en el centro del casco antiguo, es decir, una ubicación excelente. La habitación superó nuestras expectativas, muy limpia, amplia y con vistas a una de las calles centrales pero bien insonorizada.

Good for central location.

Great location bang in the centre of the old part of the city. Clean and bright room.

Check - in was very confusing. After booking I was told that check in details would be sent to me. The day before my stay I had received nothing so I contacted the property. They then said they needed my passport details in advance. I then had communications from two different people which was very confusing. (the apartment has a sister apartment in the same street who were also communicating with me!). Eventually I was able to go to that hotel and manually check in. Fridge was very noisy which is not good in a small room.

great location and place to stay in old city.

I have now stayed here twice. the location, staff and comfort are excellent. the keyless access is also very useful.

I have stayed in two different rooms there now - and the smaller one is smaller for sure. the large rooms are incredibly nice.

Exceptional

Amazing location! The room was thoughtfully designed. Definitely some small quirks in the room but I highly recommend it!

Shower flooded a little but the room service replaced all towels without asking

Good

Nice rooms but not cheap. Staff rating is because there are NO staff in this location. Check-in is done on line; a code is provided via email to access the premises. If you have questions or need assistance you have to do it on Whatsapp or some other digital platform or walk to another property to actually deal with a human. I expect more service for the price. Totally impersonal.

It was such a welcome & almost seamlessly..

No breakfast was included but coffee & tea & kettle with cutlery , fridge & microwave were very thoughtful & good

Well .. location & reception for checking in though not on site was easy .. I had to alone for 1st time in Bilboa , couldn’t speak the local language.. but all went well .. room on 1st Level .. really facilitated my 1 - night stay !

CONVENIENT AND COMFORTABLE WITH GREAT LOCATION

CLOSE TO TRAM WICH TAKES YOU TO MOST OF THE ATTRACTIONS, LOCAL AREA IS LOVELY\ THE ROOM IS SELF CONTAINED BUT CLEANED BY THE STAFF. IT WAS VERY CLEAN

COULD HAVE DONE WITH A BIT MORESPACE FOR FOOD PREPARATION ABD SOME PLATES/BOWLS, A SOFA WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD

Room was cold and no central heating - staff arrived with an electric heater wifi signal not consistent a couple of plates would be useful

Exceptional

Central location in the old town. Close to Metro station and within easy walk of most major sites. Lovely old building with added bonus of a lift when all the steps in the town get too much. Keypad secured main building, separate area and bedrooms. Rooms and foyer area clean and well looked after. Decent sized fridge and microwave in room. Fresh towels every day and room cleaned. We were lucky enough to have a window overlooking the street to see carnival bands go past.

My only problem would be that the pillows were a bit on the thin size for me. Nothing else i could complain about.

the location was very good

in the pictures is looking much better.. the heating was on just from 18:00 to 24:00 and from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. They gave me an electric heater so at the end the temperature it was ok, but because of it, the air was very hard fo breath during the night

Exceptional

This was the perfect location and the room was really spacious and clean. Better than a lot of 4 star hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. There was even a desk so it was useful to work from there too.

ideal location for old town

The property is in a great location close to casco metro station. We were only staying one night so booked one of the internal rooms without a view. Had fridge, kettle and microwave. If staying longer we would book one of the front rooms with a little balcony as we did during the summer. Communication with staff via WhatsApp is efficient and you get your code delivered to your phone by 2pm on the day you check in.

Highly recommended

Overall I would highly recommend Casual Arriaga. All the staff were extremely helpful and warm and friendly. The location could not be more perfect.

Due to the rooms being in an historical building the sound proofing is non existent. But other guests seemed very respectful of this so it is not a big issue. There was no noise from the street as most rooms are not facing the street.
