Close Proximity to Beach

Parking and having to ask for gate remotes to easy access the property. Gate remotes should be part of the keys to avoid having to hoot for access.

The pool was amazing, the garden is beautiful, as well as the atmosphere is calm

The wife loved the birthday weekend so I'm happy.

I love the room and whole house. Because it's winter we couldn't swim in the pool.

I didn't like the breakfast. The cold one was nice but the hot one was not as good.

Location, food, facilities.

There was a lot of noise from one room. I had to call the stuff 2 times about it. I felt the staff could have handled it better. No one wants to be woken up at 5am with music being played at the highest volume. For a 4 star, that kind of behavior should never be accommodated.

The people were really welcoming and the rooms were very clean and spacious. The area was also safe and quiet.

it was quite and peaceful. has great family rooms and views. staff was very helpful

Overall stay was very comfortable and had a great time, however a small complaint was the pressure in the shower head was very low but other than that great.

Pleasant stay but can do with a little privacy

The place is very clean and centrally located. The view from the balcony is to die for. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially for the guy that works at night.

Parking is almost at the street but I guess there is very little that can be done about that because of the design of the property. I understand that security is very important but I felt like the night guard is too much in your face almost getting intrusive some privacy would go a long way, please be discreet about security.

Matu hadebe was very welcome and such a lovely person most definitely will come here with my boyfriend again we really loved her 😍☺️. The way she's so sweet 😍 and polite well mannered if you ask me. Everything was perfect!!! From the breakfast package to the dining area, the pool was clean

Was only there for one night, rooms were excellent and will definitely book there again in my future travels.

Water pressure for the shower was a little bit low but I know that it is most likely due to municipal supply.

Passable for twelve hours

Decor was nice and it was clean

There is no shuttle as written. This was a reason I chose it. Please take Uber they said. i arrived and it was difficult to see exactly where it was as bushes were overgrown in front of the name sign. The first room I was shown was musty and damp, so I said no thanks and was shown another one, which was ok. The bed was comfortable and sheets were good linen. No hot water, just luke warm. Shower head needed the calc removing and it was weak pressure. In the morning it was warmer. The TV didn‘t work. The fan and A/C were good. I could not have breakfast as I was told I had to order it in advance. Why was I not asked at the same time as I was told there was no shuttle. Maybe it was just a bad day all round for them. It is not somewhere to stay if you don‘t have a car.

The caring bubbly staff. Mma Radebe's hospitality and welcoming personality. The guys were also at hand to assist us with the luggage and ensuring that the TVs were working. I once booked in this place under Michelle's ownership that's why I came back. The renovations are wow!!! The place is very clean and most importantly for me is that they were willing to accommodate us around 10am when we came back tired from the Durban cruise. The rooms were ready and we rested immediately. I recommended the place to other people and three ladies booked there and we're happy also with the early check in from the cruise. It is home away from home. I'm definitely coming back plus the beach is easily accessible and Gateway Mall is not far. Thanks Mma Radebe for taking care of our cruise laundry!! Keep up the standard you are doing great. My friends were blown away by the place and hospitality. Joo! I almost forgot that I was upgraded to the biggest most comfortable room in the entire lodge❤️at no extra charge. Thanks!! This lodge is a place to be and it is very affordable. I even made a video of the place!! PS. Please keep a small can of Doom or Motein Target for the creepy crawlies. Thanks. See you next trip. Mercedes Khwinana

It's not what I didn't like it is more of a suggestion to have something for the creepy crawlies- some bug sprays. Other than that I am extremely happy and impressed with the Blue Waves Lodge
