excellent value

Located very centrally in historical town; quiet although central; 10 minutes walk to station and most touristic places ( dutch porcelain (china) museum....) . Spacious familial room. Very helpful staff. Excellent value for the price

Room , especially bathroom, could be modernized. Flooring is a bit dated; nevetherless although old, it remains clean. Staircase (no lift) A kettle or a fridge would be an extra plus .But excellent value considering the price

Comfortable beds

No fridge or kettle for somone staying in the dorm. No soap in the bathroom. Mix dorm with 2 laud snorers during the night.

Location. Cleanliness.

Would appreciate a few hooks or something in the room and bathroom, to hang clothes and jacket. And I guess, there is no soap included in the amenities.

A pleasant stay in the center of Leeuwarden. Would recommend!

The location and the facility were well centered in the city. The room was clean and tidy the bed was neatly made and the shared bathroom was clean.

In my opinion, I did miss a hanger at the door for a jacket of some sorts, both in the room and in the toilet. The paper towel dispenser in the toilet was empty as I arrived. There was a towel present though, neatly folded. I missed in the general information papers something about the disposal of the bed linen the next morning, but as I returned to the desk to ask about this, my question was properly answered.

It is a place which is good value for the money. The facilities and staff were good and the breakfast, while not the fan

It is very close to the city centre and I could store my bike in the storage. The facilities were clean and the staff was kind and polite.

The dormitory felt very cold, despite having 2 heaters at each end. Before sleep and after waking up I felt cold when I stayed inside.

I had a problem with train and I arrived In Leeuwarden like 20 minutes later. They told me “we close at 12, find another solution. Don’t go there, zero stars in everything

The helpfulness of the staff. Good location

There weren’t any hand sanitizers nor soaps in the toalets. breakfast was awful in terms of only serving different kinds of bread and having one egg per person is not enough.

The worse experience in Netherlands

We like the location. It has an option for paid parking for a fair price.

We didn't like the staff. The man that was working there was rude and arrogant. In our room it was very cold, when we arrived the heater wasn't turned on. We turned it on, but anyway it was that cold that our baby was staying indoors with a jacket. We asked several times for additional heater or something, but the man responded with: " The room is big, it's normal to be cold ". The room wasn't cleaned properly before us. There was an empty bottle of water, tissues and so on. There weren't any bathroom supplements.

everything is certainly worth the money .

the perfect location near downtown , quiet location , typical dutch house , great value for money , , my small single room very decent , very simple , very warm in the room after a cold day , free wi-fi availeble , i will come back .

The hotel desperately needs renovation but the old style could be somehow preserved

old style from 1960/70s, sink in the room, quite cheap, fresh towels, the old vibe in general, the location

no soundproofing of walls and windows (really necessary when the room is right next to the entrance and a group of friends go back from a party), customers of the hotel's cafe smoked cigarettes next to our room's window so lots of smoke got inside (putting some signs not to smoke in this particular place next to the windows should be really considered! It doesn't cost much!), stairs to the shared bathrooms are very steep, everything is very old and dusty, especially on the lamps there is really lots of dust, a bit of mould in the bathroom, no hangers or wardrobe to hang your things. In general this old style is great but it should be slightly renewed, freshened and kept really tidy and clean not to be repulsive

Shower was fine, room was clean and good enough. Bit small maybe. In center of city. Parking space close by .

Very good

Its situated right in the centre of Leeuwarden, but not too close to be overly noisy. The employees and owner are all lovely, happy to talk about the town and make conversation.

I as a decent stay , not too good, not too bad. Just enough for a few days.

I was really surprised by the cleanliness of the shower, it was extremely clean. Also, the old design of the room was quite interesting, nonetheless, I really did like the preservation of the window to old architecture.

I did not like the toilet seat and the toilet itself, as they weren't the cleanest. I wish the room was cleaned a bit more, meaning the bathroom. Moreover, I did not understand why there was a fire exit sign above the door where my room was. Like what ?! My room is a fire escape path ?!! I was quite confused to see that.
