Es war im Großen und Ganzen ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank für den netten Empfang und die gute Betreuung.

Alle waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Tolle Menschen.

Zimmer waren sporadisch eingerichtet. Alles war sehr hellhörig, zum Beispiel die Wasserleitungen waren deutlich hörbar. Außerdem war es von Außen recht laut (Fußgänger, vermutlich eine Lüftung oder Heizung), dadurch mussten Fenster geschlossen bleiben. Das Badfenster konnte nicht Blickdicht verschlossen werden, direkt gegenüber standen weitere Häuser da die Bebauung sehr eng ist.

All in all it was a lovely stay and would 100% return

Location was great, old and quaint boutique style feeling, very spacious room, great breakfast. Kind friendly managers

Some mishaps with the service, requested a cot and didn’t get one first but was rectified for nights 2&3. Couple of small details missing in the room; only 1 mug, no toilet roll. Again small details that were rectified.

Technically old in good location

Location is good.

In room there was no ventilation or cooling and therefore it was really hot in summer. Shower had a leakage, only faulty gasket. Room height is quite low also which make room airspace low.

the floors creaked a lot so it was a bit noisy when you walked around your room

A quaint hotel in a convenient location.

A charming old building in the old town centre, very convenient for public transport. The accommodation was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was pleasant (though could have done with more variety). The bathroom was small but everything worked well. Staff were polite.

Our room was rather small and dark, and bore no resemblance to the photos on the website, which we found a bit disappointing, especially as we were staying for a week. Only one chair and a small wardrobe seemed a bit inadequate for a double room. The church bells didn't disturb us, but there was some noise (possibly from a kitchen fan) below our room which was very irritating at night and in the early morning.

Cosy and charming no-frills stay

This is a small, charming hotel in the outskirts of Zurich (15-20min by train, with a station 200m down the road) by the lake. Staff really friendly, comfortable bed, nice toiletries and, in my case, a spacious single room. I am keen to return with my family for a leisurely stay one day.

Floors can be a bit creaky, which is part of old world charm. Not necessarily a problem but just something you’d need to be mindful so as not to disturb other guests.

the price is too high for the facilities view of the other building fan instead of conditioner

Excellent location , attentive well trained staff .

Location is excellent , in the centre of Horgen. Very convenient for buses and trains . Staff are very good , and speak English which is useful. Breakfast included and was basic but very good .

Be prepared to climb the stairs - no lift available. But acceptable considering this is a traditional historic Swiss building
