Onsen was good
A bit old and dated. Basic facilities only and slightly pricy for such limited facilities

The hall is decent with piano playing in the evening time. Relaxing. There is an outdoor onsen, feels good.
Did not see any foreigners or tourists, more for locals, i think. Room is so small and old looking, tight walking space, cabinet door that hide the fridge is faulty, cannot close and blocking the walking path between the bed and cabinet, price is not worth as the only plus point is the indoor/outdoor onsen

It had a great location basically a couple blocks away from the ski resort.

The dinner provided was excellent and a beautifully prepared 5 course meal. One of the best we had in Sapporo. We were pleasantly surprised. Delicious, well thought of, presented, reasonable portion and totally worth it. Absolutely convenient within the hotel yet it was no convenient food but rather, quite an exquisite one. The dinner staff were efficient, courteous & very professional. We had a sleeping baby in the pram. There was staggered timing and they were very kind to accommodate our request to change the dinner time for an earlier slot. A pity that it was a set dinner/ prebooked as we would love to order more delicious food! Thank you so much for the wonderful dinner experience!
Futon beds in the family room (Japanese style) should be set up and ready for use by check-in time as travellers are tired. We had to lug afew heavy futons from the narrow cupboard for our hyper/ tired kids under 10 as the room was completely bare. There was no warning also that DIY was expected. We had clear explanation that it would be set up by 6pm at the reception but no one came even at 6:30.. When we called, a young staff came to our room and told us with a straight face that we should just set it up ourselves (carry all 5 futons out, some from upper/high compartment of the cupboard, lay the bedsheets, pull out all heavy duvet, fit all with blanket covers). We were embarrassed because it seemed we were lazy or something. Actually, we were really tired and wanted to have a good rest. Our first hotel in Sapporo also had it all set up and ready when we checked in, it was not a special request. Some minutes later, 2 staff was sent to set it up with no explanation. We were already halfway through. This was an awkward & slightly stressful experience. Morning breakfast, there was a queue of at least 3 tables in front of us. There were no staff at the entrance and when we went in to get help, we were directed out sternly like we entered in on purpose. I think the hotel is understaffed for breakfast and room preparation

Breakfast was good! Mostly Japanese options but we didn’t mind! Had shuttle to ski resort and train station. Big lobby and can hold ski gear.
Beds were not comfortable- hard and stiff. Room was very hot even with heater off. No AC in winter. Limited English so hard to communicate, but know we are in Japan.

I liked how cozy and spacious the room was. The robes were very comfortable.
The breakfast had very little choices. There was hardly any meat dish. The air conditioner switched off for a few minutes in the morning. My room was a no smoking room but smelled like it was previously a smoking room. The facilities, although well kept and clean, felt dated.
