Room was fine, large area, good heating which was needed!
Awkward shower taps and kitchen has a bathroom basin etc.. all need updating,
or at least a coat of fresh paint!

Stunning view at rear of property. Close to Port Arthur Historic Site. Lovely staff.
6.0
Large room with huge windows with a lovely water view.
The water was brown and smelly. A big step up into shower. Lots of cobwebs outside the window and a few inside with a couple of spiders.

The restaurant was OK
There is nothing historic about this hotel.
Probably built in the 70s

The room had a lovely view of the bay. The bedding was pristine.
One window had a crack. The room is in serious need of a refresh. The bathroom sink was heavily stained.

Location was great.
Exterior and restaurant were really nice.
This is an honest review for those looking for one. Please note I did raise our concerns with staff when I handed back keys, and they were more than open to accommodate a room change and took genuine note of the issues. Unfortunately, the damage was already done and we decided to move to another venue regardless
The room was very dirty. Dusty (I had severe asthma being in there) and stains on blankets and lounge. Lights didn't work. Switches buzzed as you turned them on.
Heater didn't turn on in bedroom.
Missing curtain or blind in kitchen meant everyone walking past could see into the room.
The front door rattled with the wind all night as there was a sizeable gap under it.
We were really disappointed as the photos of the property looked amazing, and we had heard it had been renovated.
Booked for 2 nights, but we moved to another hotel for the second night.
Again, the staff were lovely, the restaurant and meals were nice and the exterior and location were great. Just not a hotel we would go back to.

Everything- Like a little piece of home away from home 🥰
Nothing at all

We stayed in the Queen Sea View for two nights and we were very happy with the price and the room. Very affordable and comfortable with a nice view.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. For the price we would definitely stay again.
The sink in the kitchen is also the same sink you use to wash your hands after using the toilet. But given the age of the property, it's understandable.

Great location and great pub.
It’s so run down, it’s well overdue a facelift.

the bathroom in the room was freezing as the window could not be shut

staff
Overpriced for quality of accomodation. No suitable drinking water. Rat baits everywhere.
They need to tell you before you arrive that the tap water is undrinkable rather than once you get to the accomodation so that you can choose an alternative.

Homely. Friendly staff.
Room was comfortable and good size, but showing signs of being dated. Bathroom facility needed modernising.Given the style of the complex, I wasn't disappointed, but at some time, there needs to be a general upgrading.

stayed four nights and never heard a peep even with neighbours either side of us (unlike the four nights we’d just experienced in Hobart). Room was modern and although the water wasn’t drinkable they are happy to give out free bottled water which was great for the morning coffee and to top up my assistance dogs water bowl. highly recommended to stay the nights either side of your Port Arthur tour. Recommend the restaurant too! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing of major note. 2 really minor things were the TV was hard against the left hand side of the wall and wasn’t on a moveable/pivoting wall mount so was hard to see from the second bed and secondly, could also do with a mat at the front door to limit the amount of stuff (dirt/mud/sand) you drag in from the outside world.

The view was great and food at the pub was delicious
The shower wasn't amazing bit did the job

Nice, clean rooms. Beautiful views. Cosy pub. Great spot.
No complaints.
8.0
Off street parking. The view from the room. The proximity of the hotel restaurant which delivered take away to our room
The bathroom and kitchen area needed updating. There was a big gap under the door with no internal mat to clean our shoes. The kitchen lacked teaspoons, detergent and a dish cloth. We weren’t warned about the colour or quality of the water though we were provided with bottled water

Staff were friendly. Food was really good. Location was great. Rooms were clean and hot water and pressure were great 👍
Facilities are getting a but run down. Needs a bit of a revamp.

Easy to find at night. Comfortable bed with basic kitchen facilities i.e. microwave etc. Warm feel to the place. Has a restaurant and bar/bottle shop option.
Everything was great. But I was looking forward to the morning view of the sea and garden, however, the windows we're very thick with dirt. I didn't mind that much, was just a bit of a bugger given it's an advertising point.
