Lovely chalet and we would stay there again

The chalet was comfortable and cosyIt was lovely to sit in the peaceful garden and watch and listen to all the birds and sheep.

We love visiting Mt Gambier and the Chalets are a great place for a family to go to The Barn.

Have stayed here before and enjoy the property. Great location very comfortable.

Comfortable accommodation in lovely quiet surroundings.

Lovely quiet spot, easy check in and check out with keys left out for us, comfortable clean room.

Even though their website says 'Your included continental breakfast consists of cereal, fresh bread, juice and a selection of jam.' there was no breakfast supplied but fortunately we had taken some food with us. Being 7 km out of Mount Gambier it wasn't just a matter of walking out for breakfast.

Good facilities, a bit remote location

Large living room with full kitchen facilities and nice garden just in front of the living room.

1. No detergent to wash the dishes 2. a bit far away from the city centre where the main attractions located

We will be back

Beautifully presented, everything you will need in the Avocado Chalet, quiet location, wonderful scenery and gardens, would recommended to all. We will stay at Clarendon Chalets when we visit Mt Gambier next.

We were there for a sporting event and did not get to enjoy our chalet and surrounds as much as we would have liked to.

Good but I am tired!!!

facilities were very good, very clean.

There were no curtains on the gable windows and so when the sun came up there was no more sleeping! Shower was lovely but slippery when you came out on the tiles.

Overall a good stay.

The facilities and the location was great. Calm and quite area.

The Sofas in our accommodation were smelling and looks not cleaned.

very clean and well appointed. had everything this we needed

every thing was very nice. but I wish the wifi was a bit better or we had 4G service at this location. we could not get Telstra reception at this property.

Superb

We really appreciated the Kookaburras. Maybe you could hire them a little later in the morning. Thanks to all, close to an excellent restaurant and back to rural, did you hire the lambs with the Kookaburras. Thank you

Setting was lovely - around an orchard and adjacent to rural properties

Description of facilities eg oven was incorrect. Owner was able to compensate that by offering us a different, more spacious, apartment at an reasonable extra cost.

Bad customer service, terrible WiFi, OK room and cleanliness

The chalet was well appointed and in a beautiful setting. It was very peaceful and quiet.

I arrived to find a card greeting me attached to the front door of reception, and instructions on how to get to my chalet. As someone who travels about 40 weeks a year I am used to all sorts of check-in options so this didn't surprise me - but it was absolutely the first time that no-one from the property contacted me at any point during my stay. They didn't acknowledge my payment or my presence in anyway. I sent them a message at one point and they didn't respond. The WiFi was terrible and a note about this was included in my welcome letter - but since I was there for work this was a big inconvenience and I felt they should have let me know in advance. Definitely some of the worst customer service I've had.
