Magical accommodation surrounded by nature, far away from the touristic resorts.

If you are looking for a magical location far away from all the touristic resorts, this is the place to go. Beautiful accommodation at the beach, surrounded by nature. We had the most amazing outside bathroom. The staff way soooo friendly & helpful and the food was amazing. A 45min motorbike ride from the city center but so worth it. Will definitely come back to this place!

The beds were quite hard. But still worth it :)

Little piece of heaven

We loved this little piece of heaven, beautifull directly next to the beach, breakfast and dinner literally on the beach, staff super friendly, good food, and they did a lovely surprise for our wedding anniversary. To the Bamboo team: keep fighting to preserve this lovely place in nature against all those ugly big resorts

The destruction of Phu Quoc by big companies, who are totally destroing the beauty of the island and the nature. Of course, this is not the fault of the bamboo cottages, we hope they keep fighting against it, to preserve nature.

Remote heaven!

This Place is just amazing and beautiful! It's location is quite remote and this helps it keep its amazing athmosphere and ambiente. A truly beautiful place to relax, enjoy the beach and use the kajak for some trips around the coast. We also enjoyed the food - fresh smoothies and juices, great breakfast and a great menu for dinner! The personall is super freindly, very helpful and extremly professional!

The bar could use some cocktails. It would be amazing is the staff could help clean the surroundings a bit (as there is quite a bit of plastic around, which you just can't seem to avoid in vietnam).

Pleasant

Bamboo Cottages location is really good for peace lovers. The receptionist was really friendly. The place would get really good but it would require investment, it feels like maintenance has been forgotten years ago. In particular, the lack of maintenance is reflected in the accommodation. Unfortunately, I decided to go elsewhere, for these reasons.

- general cleanliness - internet function - no own fridge - limeted breakfast

Lovely experience and precious memories

Lovely food and an attractive location (although sometimes windy when we were there). Eating at a table on the beach just by the edge of the sea was delightful. The staff were extremely warm and helpful and the whole thing was very special and unique. We felt like part of a family!

Fantastic. We’d go back tomorrow if we could

We loved our stay in this wonderful place right on the beach. The sea was perfect for swimming with shade from trees along the beach. The room was very comfortable, staff helpful and the food was excellent throughout.

Nothing really but some may find the absence of hot water a challenge and it is a long way from other activities on the island - which could be seen as a bonus

charming stay in an undeveloped spot

Beautiful little cottage next to the water. Breakfast was not the typical buffet, but from a menu. Delicious

shower situation for me was too uncomfortable with the temperature of the water.

Amazing cottages at a quiet relaxing beach

Very quiet and cozy place in an great atmosphere. Its a perfect place to relax and enjoy with nice beach. The rooms view is perfect. Breakfast was sufficient with nice choices. The staff was very helpfull with things we need. They try to implement sustainable actions which is really nice to see.

The shower was a bit cold (during my visit it was a bit chilly at night for tropical place in other time maybe it doesnt matter). Maybe add some solar panels on roof for some warm water ;) The mosquitonets like on the image where not in my room (but maybe they can provide it)

an oasis of calm!

One of the best places we stayed in vietnam - everything is understated perfection! the staff are amazing, views incredible and the sea is like a big warm bathtub on your doorstep. great range of veggie food and beautiful setting for your meals. Free kayaks and a pool table. we originally booked for 4 nights and then extended to 7 - so glad we did! added bonus that they are striving to be plastic free so you don’t get all the massive amounts of plastic encountered when staying else where. great place to feel close to nature amongst the mayhem and major development on the rest of the island

Relaxing !

- Bamboo Cottages’ personnel was extremely profesional. - The place is just amazing. it’s away from everything and it keeps it’s charm. - They never used plastic. - The food was was yummy. There were a few things missing from the menu (dessert) but it was still good. - The drinks such as smoothies were the best that I has tried in Vietnam. There were also things missing from the menu such as cocktails and wine but I managed to get my own wine from the store. - I rented the scooter from them and managed to visit other places. - I was also able to go for a long walk around the beach. I had to go through other hotels but it was not a problem. - Everything was so clean - They had two cute dogs at the property. I don’t know if they belong there or not but all the guess were dog lovers so we really appreciate their presence. They needed some love ! - I had the front room beach (#14) and it was great. The rooms right in front of the beach were the best ones. I just open my door and I was a few steps away from the beach. The rooms at the back didn’t face the beach. - The beach was like a huge pool. The waves are so small. It was excellent to go swimming. - They kayaks were also a great addition to go around.

Hidden gem in Phu Quoc: absolute paradise

The staff is very friendly and extremely supportive: I had issues with my phone and everyone helped me beyond expectations to finally solve it. Bamboo cottages is located a bit far away from the city which is good because you can enjoy the wonderful beach all by yourself. The beach is sandy, the water warm, calm and crystal clear. The restaurant provides an excellent selection of local food, all arranged and prepared very carefully. The tables are both inside and outside, right in front of the sea. The room is big, comfortable and has all you need to enjoy your stay, mine was facing the sea directly which is magnificent. Thank you all the staff of Bamboo Cottages, a true gem in Phu Quoc!

great place to relax! would love to come back !!

very relaxed style of Life here! cottages in front of the ocean! at Night you can here the waves witch I did like very much! nice people friendly staff! the manager speaks very good English ! breakfast is a good choice ! and the restaurant serves very good food! really happy to find this place !

it’s a little bit far away from everything! the road to the bamboo cottages is very bad!

Idyllic week on beach—swim, eat, nap, read, repeat.

Room and meals were on the beach. Calm, quiet cove for swimming. Perfect turquoise water at bathtub temperature. Super comfortable and sturdy lounge chairs under shade structure. Beautiful flowers and gardens. Spacious room. Healthy and fresh food. Plenty of vegetarian options. Library with books in many languages. The staff was friendly and professional. Highly recommend. Hope to go back.

Very clean and comfortable location with very friendly staff. Best place to calm down!

Beautiful and clean cottage on the beach with a fantastic view to the sea, tasty local snacks and dinner, very friendly stuff and the owner takes care about the environment.
