Stay at Chez pepe

The apartment is opposite flic and flac beach with nearby restaurants and small food truck carrier but a bit costly as it is nearby beach. Nearby food Mart at walkable distance. Apartment was small but clean.

Sofa cum bed was not comfortable to sleep on.

Parking was not particularly for the guest (just side way parking on the street), room was a bit dark.

fabulous apartments in a prime location opposite beach

the location was superb, across the road from flic en Flac beach and right amount fat all the bars and restaurants. apartment has everything needed for a self catering holiday. sea view apartment was superb. bed big enough and comfy. bathroom clean and tidy and hot water. really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to others.

WE COULD NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL AS IT WAS NOT TO OUR EXPECTATIONS .NO LIFT TO GET TO THE ALLOCATED ROOM ON THE THIRD FLOOR. THIS HOTEL SHOULD BE RATED AS ONE STAR.

nightmare

it was terrible, we had to find another stay in the same day. impossible to stay with the kid there

the AC was not working properly, the room was with view towards the backyard where all the ventilation from the restaurant was sent out. It was impossible to open the windows due to the food smell from the kitchen. As soon as we arrived the AC remote control was not in the room,it tooked 2h to bring one to us. Then, when e opened the AC it was not working, we left it on 18 degrees for 1h and it was barely making cold air. It was so hot in the room (since it was at lastt floor) that you could do a sauna. When we asked for another room they said there are none available and when I told them we will leave due to the bad condition they did not even asked what were the problems and if they can help. rude attitude from the guy that was managing the property (the person from the downstairs restaurant). I would never recommend this accomodation for families with kids...avoid it if you do not want to ruin your holiday.

Perfect in any way

Perfect location on the beach road, close to several restaurants, tour operators etc. Good communication with the staff.

In our 4 days stay, they didn't clean my room for a single day. No front office,where you can talk to anyone. No lights in the staircase.

Make this your first choice

From the minute we booked this accommodation we had continued support. All questions and queries were answered within 24hrs. Taxi transfers were perfect and all members of Chez Pepe Apartments and Chez Pepe Pizza Restaurant were so kind and welcoming towards us and always there with a big smile. The entire experience has been wonderful. The apartment was exactly as described with a lovely view of the beach and ocean. All facilities within the apartment were brilliant, fabulous air conditioning, free safety deposit box, well furnished and comfortable balcony, and finally well equipped with cutlery, crockery, glassware etc and an efficient fridge with small ice box. We have no hesitation in Highly recommending Chez Pepe Apartments. We stayed 21 nights and were happy to be there every one of those days.

Absolutely Wonderful!!

The room was spacious the view beautiful and the evenings where buzzing with local night life and restaurants. A real feel of Mauritius. Close to shops and bus stops. Amazing sunsets! Would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to spend an arm and leg. Make sure you book a room with a view! Well worth the stay. Thank you Anita

Chez Pepe Flic en Flac

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location, close to beach, restaurants, bus stop. We used LMC tours, Kamaal, very good service and speaks English well .

Superb

Very nice and clean appartment at a good location (beach across the street and very close to the restaurants and many street food). Nice and helpful owners. Delicious pizza at Chez Pepe Pizzeria!

Chez Pepe is a lovely apartment

The apartment was clean, safe, and perfectly situated. The rooms are very big. Anita (reservations manager) was extremely helpful. She answered all the questions or concerns I had before the trip efficiently. I wasn't sure what time I would be able to check in, but she made sure I would be able to check in without any issues. The restaurant at Chez Pepe was also great. We got discount because we stayed at Chez Pepe, the food was good and the people friendly. Me and my sister loved the apartment and would definitely go back

I liked everything. There is no sink in the kitchen. This didn't bother us, but if you want to cook, it would be more convenient having a sink in the kitchen rather than using the Basin in the bathroom

cheap and as far from paradise as possible

nothing really, we had a view of the bins and the owners never met us at the property. Should I go on?

not very clean, horribly dirty street, terrible kitchen, cockroaches. Advertised as beach front and wasn’t!

Booked garden apartment, ended up on third floor. Not good for my bad hip, coursed a problem.

nicely located right across the beach and with many nice restaurants on the street. perfect place to stay if you just need a place to sleep when you are out exploring the island or doing activities around the city.

would have been nice with a more equipped kitchen since there were only were a fridge. there was also some funny smells from the bathroom and closet.

Great location

The location is great, over the road from the beach. Shops and restaurants close by. Chez Pepe restaurant downstairs has nice food.

The little kitchenette was lacking a wash up sink. Otherwise everything was good.

Overall great experience, no luxury but good value.

Location is great, room was basic but comfortable. Excellent value, walking distance for food or just pop downstairs. Great air conditioner :)

Wifi was very bad in my room (no9) I had to sit on the balcony to use the Wifi. Very little / no real parking, thankfully most people visiting wont bring a car.

There are many places to visit around the world, but I'd come and stay here again!

- Perfect for couples. - Very efficient communication with the hosts. They're friendly and always around the restaurant at the bottom floor. The cleaning lady was like a ninja, never a disturbance. - Location is right in the middle of all the majority of restaurants in the area. Beach is across the road. I honestly think you cannot book a better location in Flic en Flac. - Try and get the upper rooms with balconies. Great place to drink your coffee. - Parking for your rental car (limited parking spaces in the back alley, but there are also the free beach parkings nearby) - Nearby restaurants have the best indian food I've eaten, ever - AC is top notch - Security cameras everywhere, felt safe. - Hosts offered a free late checkout to leave our baggages and enjoy the last day at the beach and take a shower before the flight; we refused, but that was nice!

Minor inconveniences, not a problem at all for younger couples: - Had to repair the electric water boiling kettle with some duct tape to make some coffee & tea. No big deal though. - The main grocery store (Jumbo Express) is like a 7-8 min speed walk away; if you have a rental car it's not an issue! - Neighbours like to party in the weekends (who doesn't though); close windows and turn on AC, and it's fine.

Great stay for the money

- beach across the street - view from balcony - size of the room - comfortable - owner / landlord flexible

the only thing is that the bathroom could have been cleaner (shower scrub with anti-mold)
