It is a very nice place to stay with loads of activities close by. My room was great and the Backpackers itself is really nice. The personal was great as well! Really nice and friendly people, nice talking at the first place in the evening. Great food. The Blackwater Tubing is a highlight as well.

We guessed that this would be a lively place popular with younger travellers. Expect to hear people partying until late & wish you were young again!

For my entire South Africa trip - this was my favourite place to stay. We kept trying to figure out how we could extend our time just to stay here longer. I would definitely come back and stay here longer. Everything was just so perfect. The room was so cute, and the bed was so comfortable. They had a stocked fridge for late night drinks. The bathroom was clean and spacious. They even had a walk in closet where you could store your bags. Although my favourite part of the room was the patio. I spent the evenings just sitting on the patio enjoying the night air. I wish I could bundle up this place and bring it home with me. They also offer a really great tubing experience. Our guides were so much fun, the group of people were fun and I just felt the entire staff went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful.

Really nice property, I love the fire pit. The staff was very helpful in arranging a shuttle into the National Park.

Nice bar and pool/ hot tub area. Food served here is good and reasonably priced. Tours and transport can be easily arranged here.

Just one dorm room, can feel a bit crowded and lack of plugs for the amount of travellers.

The garden and walkways are extremely unique and beautiful. Hammocks in the garden was a treat for reading. Bonfire in the evenings. Would recommend the Pina Collada!

Room's only window broken. Room not soundproof whatsoever and floors noisy. Room quite tiny. Food was overpriced compared to local restaurants and not up to standard.

The place was in a great location

I felt like our stay could have been better. It was a quite night and everything was closed by 8PM. We wanted to enjoy a drink in the bar but the place was like a ghost town despite the owner telling us that the bar would be open. Felt a little neglected !!
