Golden Jail indeed

-The room, property grounds and lobby area were clean and inviting. -We had some issues with the staff and management was kind and open to discussion. -Our room was lovely. -The views of the jungle are beautiful. -Hot water and internet worked well

-The front desk was unhelpful and unpleasant. -There is very little information about the tours provided which makes it difficult to plan. -If you do not book a tour, you are limited to walking from your room to the lobby/restaurant, as you are not allowed to explore anywhere else on your own. -Service at the restaurant/bar is S L O W -bottled water not replenished after 1st night -Some food items were cold upon arrival at our table for both dinner and breakfast

It was exceptional in all terms. birds and wildlife everywhere.

I can't think of anything. It would be great to have a pool or jacuzzi

Stay elsewhere, enjoy the activities here

The location is amazing, it's a must see! The bar staff was friendly. The wood burning fireplace that separates the bar from the dining area really adds to the ambiance. Food tasty. Activities are top-notch. My advice would be stay elsewhere but take advantage of all the activities they offer.

The service is incredibly slow. The breakfast starts at 7:30, the group had an 8:30 canopy tour reservation on their property. We arrived at 7:20. It took 40 minutes to be served scrambled eggs, toast, and sausage. Dinner took two hours from order to desert. It seemed that they felt guests are a burden. Water turned off. That kind of thing happens, but they tried to hide it from us. We tried multiple times to get a glass of water and coffee. The cups were filled only half way with coffee, the water never came. We would have understood if they just told us. We got back to the room after a disappointing breakfast only to find the rooms had no water either. No one was able to use the bathroom, brush teeth, etc until just before check out time.

max relax in beautiful wild nature

Beautiful location with stunning views. Tasty food, though not very Panamerian, but still great. We also took four tours, all were very interesting, the guys working there are cool and very professional (from zipline to coffee tour). Truly recommend if you want to spend few days in calm, remote location and recharge.:)

It’s not about the dislike, but you have to be prepared that the wifi will be poor on a mountain, thus better take a book with you. Also not about the resort itself, but you need to take warm clothes (pants, jackets, etc), as in the evening/morning it is really cold outside compared to other popular among the tourists Panama locations.

Very good

We had a wonderful stay at Tree Trek. Our room was comfortable with heavenly beds. Nature was really nice and the rainy times were really cozy.

The meals where quite expensive and you don’t really have an alternative since Tree Trek is a little outside from Boquete.

Relaxing, excelent food, we saw two Quetzal birds near our cabin (priceless)

Excelent location, temperature even colder than down in boquete, the cabins were very nice

Cabins should have more space to sit around, for game night it was better for us to go in the restaurant area

The food in the restaurant is not great. For such a nice place I expect better.

Beautiful location, great staff

Absolutely lovely location. We stayed in one of the matrimonial cabins, and we woke up each morning to a beautiful view of the mountains. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and competent. Every single interaction we had was good. The activities that they offer are very fun, and it is clear that the people running them also are having a good time, which makes the whole experience very enjoyable. The restaurant was nice and an excellent price. We would thoroughly recommend staying here!

If we have to nitpick, the room was sometimes a little cold, and the shower was a little unpredictable: sometimes it would go cold after 5 minutes, and other times you would be able to enjoy a 15-minute (warm) shower.

I would love to come back to boquete and stay at this place again

I liked it over looked a beautiful view. it felt private. such a cozy property.

taxis would over charge for this location. they should run the shuttle a few more times during the day.

Superb

The location is out of town, in a coffee & tea plantation. Quiet, nice to hear birds chirping. Excellent breakfast. Beds were comfortable, shower was working well. The hotel offers a variety of tours.

It wasn't a problem as we had a rented car to pop in to the town for craft beer and food.

Comfortable lodge, great food, excellent service and stunning views amid adventurous activities.

Because of the national demonstrations, road blocks and fuel shortages it was almost undoable to reach our next destination. Tree Trek staff went the extra mile to arrange safe and reliable transfer to Bocas.

Nice Hotel in the jungle of Boquete.

the location and the view is really nice. also the nice activities. the staff were pretty nice.

it’s not possible to walk freely into the forest at the location.

Beautiful, well kept, nice people we met there and loved the tours.

Loved it all!!!

Staff could be more friendly. Clerk at desk checking in was great. Waiter,,,, not so much. We felt you guys missing out on selling tshirts,sweatshirts for tourists. The few there isn’t good. We come from cold weather and we all would have purchased sweatshirts as memories of made available. That’s a money maker!!!!

We enjoyed our stay so much we plan on coming back again for a longer stay.

the views were beautiful, the restaurant was excellent very reasonable pricing, staff was very friendly. we liked it so much that we never moved our vehicle after we got there. Food and drinks were well priced. it was so nice to be able to stay there and do tours and activities right on that property. each tour we took was excellent along with the people that ran them.

I have nothing to say it was a very good experience.

A high-quality stay with a view

Great location high in the mountains with stunning views of the village of Boquete and the volcano. The hotel has a beautiful large covered terrace with stunning views. With regard to the room, there is a choice of rooms in an extension or a few individual cabins. Free transport to and from the village

Limited walking possibilities. There are some trails but they are only accessible if you book a tour. There is a coffee tour, hanging bridge trail and a great zip-line experience

Too far from centro. Taxi ranged 15-20 cabin #10 did not have a nice view hot water took a long time to come out of shower & faucet
