Un lieu magique. Quel plaisir d’observer toutes sortes d’animaux sauvages depuis la terrasse de notre bungalow. Ce dernier étonnamment bien équipé et hyper confortable ! Une seule envie, y retourner au plus vite!!

Immaculately clean, everything new. I think the unit we had was added recently. Have stayed here before, it was even better than I remembered. The management were extremely welcoming and friendly. Next time it won’t be an overnight stay, I will definitely add on a night or two.
One of the nicest things is the location. In the mountains away from the highway, absolute peace and tranquility.
Could not really find fault with anything. My wife says it maybe needs an oven.

Beautiful setting and being winter time the electic blanket was a big bonus.
They also provide torches ect for loadshedding.
My daughter could not shower in the morning as the water was cold ( no gas)
Gas levels should be checked before guests check in.

Didn't have breakfast.
Roads around the Bush Camp. Parts were unsuitable for a family saloon.

The cottages and surrounds were fabulous. We ordered venison pie which was top class. We also loved the walking amongst the animals. We walked the 4x4 trail and wished we had more time. We will be back
There could have been a fan in the room as it was very hot

The peaceful location.
Feeling as if I was not simply sleeping over on a long trip, but at a destination of its own. Like a mini holiday.
The unit is well equipped. It felt as if the cottage has been through so many years of hospitality that it has morphed to cater for every conceivable requirement a tenant might have.
The bed linen and towels are comfortable and of high standard.
Being dog friendly is the cherry on top. And having a friendly dog come over to my unit to chat and to ask my dog out to play, was unexpectedly nice.

Great location and setting of chalets is ideal, especially for the evening experience of Impala buck visiting en masse and settling down for the night. Maaike was very helpful and friendly, both in advance of the stay and during our time there.
Nothing really although some overseas travellers might get a bit of a surprise at the rugged track leading to the lodge (i.e not needing a 4x4).

I loved my stay at Ko Ka Tsara. I was welcomed by the giraffes on arrival. The place is nice & peaceful, the accommodation is comfortable and clean, the staff very friendly. I loved exploring the reserve on my mountain bike. I would definitely be back!

Lovely tranquil and peaceful lodge

The chalet is lovely. The staff are responsive. The grounds are amazing--large and on foot you encounter giraffes, springbok, warthogs. It's super quiet at night. The stars are beautiful. The chalet is equipped for cooking. Town is close enough to go out for a meal if you like.
There is no generator, so during load shedding there is no power.

The location is beautiful, the chalet comfortable, so it made for a great stopover.
We ordered some meat to braai, wood and salad. All of which was waiting when we arrived and we had a fire going in no time. good quality and so convenient.

Friendly and helpful staff, grwat location and good accommodation. Facilities well maintained
Pool could of been better maintained as it's one of the main attractions. Road leading to camp us single lane and needs maintenance

what a wonderful discovery this place is. Beautiful nature enclosure not too far from the N1 in a sublime location. The cabins are really nice. The people working there very nice. Everywhere, we paid attention to the detail of the decoration, including in the big comfortable sofas near the bar and the swimming pool where I took refuge to read during a rain. The presence of animals is great, with a special mention to the proximity of the giraffes during the morning walk. Highly recommend and I’ll be back for sure.

A little piece of paradise in the Karoo. The chalet had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The grounds were well maintained. It was wonderful to see game close by. The added bonus was being able to have our little dogs with us too!
