Best part was being able to have our pet with us with clean and warm facilities
The ‘resort’ part was not what we needed but if a young family were wanting pool and play spaces these were not in use -but you also were not paying for these! Would consider coming again.

Location. Space in room.
Tiny fridge. Not enough dishes. Only 2 chairs, but slept 4
No wardrobe, only drawers. No service at all - towels not changed in 5 days. No way to clean floor. Place looks run down and uncared-for with long grass and closed function room. Staff never visible but contactable by phone.

Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of internal space. Undercover parking was helpful when we packed up in torrential rain!
For the high price we felt the the unit did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately the carpets were badly stained, had not been well vacuumed and were gritty underfoot. There were only two cups in the kitchen and both were very dirty and unusable. The bedding was very light for the unseasonably cool night and there were no extra blankets available.

Bed was comfortable - no side tables.
Shower recess was very mouldy in corners - poor level of cleanliness.

The rooms and the place were so disappointing, they were very outdated. The room was was full of dust, dead bugs and a corn chip was also found. The permanent ‘neighbours’ were loud at 2am, cars pulled up and there was swearing. We felt very unsettled!
My daughter went down the slide on the playground and there was a giant crack in the plastic which her leg went through. She was stuck and injured.

Being able to cook dinner and is dog friendly.
You would have to travel to go back into Swan Hill if you had to have dinner. The resort is a little tired and needs some work. This could be it is still recovering from COVID.

All a bit tired and in need of refurbishing.

This property is older, but there have been lots of updates to the room to make it comfortable and it’s clean! New shower head with good pressure and hot water. Plenty of soft towels and all the extras have been thought of in every room, toiletries, tea/coffee/milk, iron, hairdryer, tissues, big tv and more. We had good heating as we only stayed one night and it was cold. I would stay here again as it had space in the room and the bathroom. Thank you!
Beds were a little soft and we had only two coffee cups and two glasses for a four bedroom room. This was minor as we only stayed one night otherwise we would have asked for more.

The room is perfectly adequate for the needs of overnight and longer-stay travelers. I appreciated the kitchen facilities. The bed is very comfortable and an extra blanket was definitely needed.
Some things could be modernised ( e.g.air con) and the carpet replaced but I understand that the cost involved would be prohibitive.
The main reason why my stay was rated bad was because of a very inconsiderate guest next door. I had a long drive with pets that's why I decided to stop overnight. I had 500 km to drive the next day. I chose the Hill Stop Resort because it is a pet-friendly facility. I was awake for most of the night as the guest(s) next door had their TV on all night on high volume. There was no reply to my requests to turn it down.
I also did not like totally nonabsorbent towels. Cheap towels that need to be washed frequently in hot water are not a good investment. Good quality Sheridan towels will last longer and the guests will definitely appreciate an absorbent towel.

It was dry! Due to torrential rain, we had to abort our camping trip and booked to stay for 2 nights at Hilltop Resort.
The complex is extremely rundown and doesn't look like the photos on it's webpage. The rooms are dated, with cigarette burns and other stains in the carpet, and there was no smoke alarm.

A little bit out of town but very quiet. The horses and ponies were wonderful to feed. The play facilities need a lot of work. The rooms were suitable, old facilities like they said.
Prickles everywhere!!! They go through your shoes. Just awful! Kids playground old and need a lot more care and maintenance.

It was relaxing stay, lovely place. They have kangaroos in garden.
Pool hasn't been cleaned, quite slippery. Wall was too thin, we could hear next room clearly.
