Very disappointing...don't stay in Cabin #15!

Convenient location

Cabin #15 is very noisy next to entry/exit boom gate. Vehicles coming a going all night and into early hours Sat/Sun AM. Vehicles Leaving between 0500-0600hrs too. Seems there are rural road workers teams that live in site. Floor was generally dirty including bathroom floor. Female long hairs in shower cubical. Finger writing on mirror: "You're up next Anya" demonstrates bathroom was not cleaned well at all! Chairs in Kitchen were almost broken, loose. Light Switchgear throughout was dirt. Air-condition filter dirty and clearly had not been cleaned for a long while. Air cond remote grubby, also noisy. Not good value for $$$. Being woken up x2 days in row through the nighttime, diesel vehicles and headlights then again in early morning is not acceptable! Sorry these are the facts!

Good - would stay again in summer when the pool next door is open.

Good sized cabin, clean and comfy. Kids loved the mini golf.

A beautiful decorated comfortable and peaceful place just needs a bit of love to make it perfect

Comfortable and had everything needed for stay Good heating comfortable bed

Needs a little maintenance Toilet roll holder loose Mould in shower corners Windows doors and light switches all need a good clean Outdoor Setting filthy unusable and lots of bird poo Cutlery needed washing before use Put new battery in wall clock but still isn’t working Couch had a few dirty spots Bottom of bath tub has black marks on base

A pretty good stay, was a suitable cabin for only a two night stay

The kitchen facilities were nice along with the bedroom. Good view and overall well sized cabin.

The Wifi did not work properly and the shower pressure was not the best. Also had to pay a lot of money to stay but was asked to wash/dry and put away dishes and take out rubbish bags.

The size of the unit and the price. Excellent value for money

More instructions on how to work the TV with 2 remote controls. Grumpy old man with no patience gave up.

Great facility, will comeback again.

The location is what we were expecting. Cute little cabin that suits for our overnight stay.

The electric blanket is not very comfortable. But there is a spare blanket so it works good.

Cabin was comfortable. It's great that all guests can use the swimming pool next door.

Playground and mini golf could do with an update. Mini golf was very basic and run down.

Excellent cabin. Good park for kids. Friendly reception staff.

Family cabin was excellent- lots of room and storage, huge couch, big TV with foxtel, large shaded deck with nice big table. Access to public heated pools next door was great. Good games room with table tennis, toys, books etc although a few old/broken machines should be removed.

Cabin could have been cleaner (blood smear left in bathroom, bit of dust/grime). Cabin not ready at usual check in time of 2pm, had to wait until after 3.30pm. Only given 2 small half used toilet rolls!

Very clean and comfy. Have everything you need. Good facilities. Kids love the mini golf.

It would be more convenient to have a socket in the second room.

After all of these, they provided another room for us and tried to fix the key for us.

The room they initially allocated to us was poorly managed. We are unsure how long the bread rolls were in the cupboard. The leftover meat has been left in the oven for an unsure period. It had a quite bad smell when we opened it. Also, the kids bunkbeds room door cannot be closed. After talking to the manager, they were happy to allocate another room to us, yet the key was bent which cannot be used.

Superb

Great value (especially if you have a family of 4+). Well appointed cabin, well located for the Eureka museum and excellent Indian restaurant on the corner. They upgraded but I suspect the cabin we originally booked would have been more ordinary!

Weather could have been better! One ring on gas arrived didn't light

Conveniently located to all attractions

Stayed 5 days only contact with staff with 1 cleaner who supplied us with toilet paper. Office only open on tuesday check out.

Good little cabin in a great location to explore Ballarat

Great location in Ballarat - lots of local treasures to explore if you have a car including the Eureka Centre right next door with playground. The cabin was very comfortable and clean!

Smoke alarm directly above stove. The stove exhaust fan turned on but did little to absorb fumes from cooking so we set off the smoke alarm a couple of times just cooking eggs on the stove which was annoying. Had to cook with all windows/doors open and someone swinging a teatowel around.
