Not upto the Mark

The location is beautiful and so is the property

The rooms weren’t that clean there were spider webs everywhere. The food served in our room was completely cold & tasteless. We asked for water and were informed that no extra bottles can be provided as they were “running short” of bottles.

Bad

During our stay, we encountered numerous issues with the accommodation. Firstly, we noticed that most of the wooden furniture was covered in molds and fungus. Unfortunately, my partner is allergic to molds and dust, which made her experience quite challenging. Additionally, there were water leakages inside the machan, and the bathtub was both leaking and dirty. To make matters worse, the landline phone in our room was completely dead throughout our stay, preventing us from contacting the reception for room service or any other assistance we might have needed. Moreover, there was absolutely no network coverage on our mobile devices, and the landline in the room was non-functional as well. This lack of communication options was highly inconvenient and limited our ability to reach out for help or stay connected with the outside world. Furthermore, we had inquired with the receptionist twice regarding whether breakfast was included in our booking. Each time, she assured us that she would check and get back to us, but unfortunately, she never followed up. Consequently, we assumed that breakfast was not included. However, upon returning home and reviewing our booking, we discovered that we had indeed paid for breakfast. This lack of clear communication and follow-up from the receptionist resulted in us missing out on the breakfast we had already paid for. Overall, our stay was extremely unpleasant, as the rooms had a persistent smell of molds, which was particularly troublesome for my partner's allergies. Furthermore, we found the receptionist to be underqualified, and their failure to properly address our concerns about breakfast added to our disappointment. If you value hospitable service and hygienic room conditions, I cannot recommend this place.

Very unhappy with the breakfast part as mentioned above and hygiene

Place and some staff was good

Breakfast was above average but the staff wad not able to manage the crowd. We order eggs pan cake and Dosa and we didn't receive it on time it took 45 min to give and then too it was very cold no cheese nothing. It was very disappointing we had to go to the room hungry. Room was not maintain it had spider wed at all places

A must visit for peaceful holidays

- Location was superb, amazing and awesome. Location was too beautiful to describe in the words. So lovely to visit such a beautiful location which is very close to nature. - Staff was helpful. - Room was very nice. Wooden work in the room was just beautiful and amazing. Room was a beautiful piece of art.

- Food quality was not that great. There's a big scope of improvement for food quality. We took buffet dinner but the taste of (main course especially) was not upto the mark. - Breakfast was better than dinner. But it could have been more better. - Staff should warn guests about bugs and brief guests on how to deal with bugs. There were instructions in the big book. I was stung by a bee. Staff provided me ointment but we could have avoided this. * Booking process needs improvement: - Property doesn't picks the call. Manager said that we get a lots of call so it might not be possible to answer all calls. - Booking dot com had very less Machaans available. There were some Machaans available on website but nobody picked the phone for booking. - We booked Forest Plus Machaan. It was fine but it was not at a great height. So, view from the balcony was okay(not so great). Other Machaans(especially evening Machaan or others)which are at a great height have very beautiful view.

Good concept and stay in nature. Service needs drastic improvement.

Location and accommodation was good

Service is very slow. Restaurant serves very limited options in buffet. The resort looks understaffed. Be it room service or ordering something at the restaurant, everything will take its own sweet time.

Overpriced property, little to very basic amenities - isn't value for money.

The location is nice, the concept is good, but can't say anything that gives you a wow.

The staff response was very poor. Room service would take ages to reach the room, and that too after multiple follow-ups. There is no 24x7 kitchen, there were rats inside the room. The property has a very dirty pond, and the paths inside are dirty. Evenings its dark and not lit enough. Nothing gives a premium feel to the price. Breakfast was okayish, the spread was pretty limited. Wasn't value for money at all.

The property is good and it's in a green space which is also good, but there is no telephone network so be prepared although the property provides wifi at an additional charge that only works in reception area.

Well i had book starlight villa which has the speciality that you can remove the roof of the villa. BUT THAT WASN'T WORKING, so it was really disappointing as I paid double the amount just for the openable roof.

Poor

property was clean, except that nothing any positive factor. Not value for money, not tasty food, rude staff, overpriced wifi which they don’t even tell you that it is chargeable. certainly not visiting ever again.

overall okayish experince!

it’s a very serene property. good for rejuvenation

The entry road is pretty narrow and its an unpaved road, making the entry very difficult! the property claims to have a 24*7 support by dialling 9 however when I dialled it at around 10.30 pm for 4 times to refill drinking water, there was no answer, simply no answer!!! owing to the location of the rooms and it’s distance from the reception, I was left with no other option but to stay thirsty for the entire night! also, they charge a bomb amount for the dinner buffet however again there was shortage of desserts in the buffet, which was a complete turn off
