it did not have a restaurant on site. for a pool Villa only one towel per person was given. we used the pool. tge towel was used. next morning we had no choice but to use a damp towel. when we asked the manager. she said this is our policy. they need to consider.

We knew we would arrive in the morning at the VIP Chain Resort at the outskirts of Ban Phe. We contacted the office to ask if we could check in earlier. When we arrived the friendly woman at the office offered us an upgrade - a bigger house with a bigger pool at the same price. We would move in straight away. Next to our own pool there was a great pool near the restaurant. And if you want to go to the sea, which is across the street from the entrance, you can order a golf cart to take you there. The beach is huge and it was really quiet when we stayed at the VIP Chain Resort. Like you have the whole beach and sea to yourself. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were terrific. Every day a couple of cleaning ladies rushed through the house to make everything clean again. They always left new clean towels at the bathrooms.

VIP Chain Resort is about 10 minutes away by car from the centre of Ban Phe. As it is not touristy there are almost no taxis or tuk-tuks to take you there or to take you back from Ban Phe to the resort. You better make sure you arrange for transportation.

Safe, private pool, quiet, huge bedrooms and bathroom. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast was great. Although it said American breakfast, they did offer thai dishes for Thais.

Cleaning is the issue. The pool was not prepared prior to the arrival. The kids had to wait for the pool to be cleansed. I think this should be done before we arrived. The floor was not very clean especially the kitchen area. Dining table was full of oily spots. Kitchen floor was sticky and dirty as well as counter top that had not cleansed even on the second day. There was gecko’s craps on the counter top. Decorations are not appropriate but I do understand that these were to attract foreigners.
