Nice spacious room with a king bed and en-suite bathroom. The kitchenette was well equipped.
The room was serviced and cleaned every day.
We loved the views from the pool.
The hiking routes nearby are lovely and well-maintained.
All the staff are super friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is a bit mediocre and could do better.
Ordering a basket of ribs for R80 and only receiving four ribs is not acceptable.
The salads also barely had filling and were just a bunch of leaves.
I also suggest that the gardeners do not mow the lawn while people have lunch at the pool. They are disturbing the peace and quietness.

Went for a couples massage at the spa, was very nice and relaxing.
My husband is quite tall, so he was very happy that he could fit on the bed and under the shower head.
The sofa was quite uncomfortable

Friendly staff and tasty food. Excellent views and very accommodating place.
The gravel road to the venue. They should have sign boards indicating we're getting closer to the venue. Otherwise, the drive seems endless.

Activities were awesome. Enjoyed the tractor ride to the farm with lots of farm animals. Horse ride was adventurous with excellent views of Lesotho border.
The pig and pony coffee shop has great staff and food ay reasonable prices.
View was Beautiful of the moutain range, put put was really good.
Managers at the resort need training on better handling clients, was bullied and treated terribly.
Food was not good, Chef Natasha had an attitude.
If I ever return I would book the self catering accommodation only.

The surroundings and scenery. The place was fairly neat and clean
The facilities- one of the nights there was no power at all. Reception was closed completely and we feared that of something were to happen to either one of us we wouldn't have anybody around to assist. We also did not have hot water for an entire day we had to boil water in kettles and on the stove. There is no wifi in the rooms or phone reception in the area.

The Berg is always a great getaway and our usual “escape” yet it’s always the venue that decides. Great place but the limited food we tried was disappointing to say the least and the “trout fishing destination” a joke!
Terrible roads. If we’d known we wouldn’t have come, at least we now know, it’ll be our “First” and last!

The resort is well maintained. Beautiful views. Relaxing holiday. Entertainment every day for guests. One of the best resorts I've been to.
The dirt road that we had to travel on for 22km before reaching our destination. This will definitely keep us from visiting again. A real pity because I'd love to visit again.

Comfortable cabin. Clean. Well maintained. Wonderful location and scenery. So peaceful. The pool area is beautiful.
The R617 access route is full of potholes, but worse still is the approximately 30km gravel road stretch from Underberg to the location which is in very poor condition. Normal cars do this route with great difficulty. The onsite restuarant is dull and has an uninspiring menu. The food itself is mediocre as is the service.
