The location was fantastic. The people even better. With Pardis, Serena, and DiVinci restaurants with in a 2 mile radius you have the best dining in Kampala. This little paradise is tucked away minutes from Embassy row and Interpol headquarters where the best views and scenery of the capital are captured.

My room was next to the restaurant bad idea at night since the bar opens until late.

Excellent breakfast served by very kind staff. Villa Kololo is a tiny place with a unique feeling. Excellent location, Walking distance to the shopping mall. Good Italian restaurant.

The breakfast was great with various choices available to guests.

Breakfast is fine - bread, fruit, eggs, coffee, tea, juice etc. We really appreciated being allocated a room with a small balcony/terrace as it made the stay very relaxing. Lovely beds, bed linen, furniture with bathroom well appointed and good range of toiletries. Kettle with tea and coffee in the room a really nice touch. Helpful staff. Good parking.
Breakfast could be more imaginative, with more options - which would be in keeping with the 'boutique feel' of Villa Kololo.

Originality of the location and the quality of the food in the restaurant!
The noise insite the hotel

The location and restaurant vibe
Really limited parking space for hotel guests that are not comfortable parking by the roadside, the lighting of the room and entire interior was on the darker side, low to no natural aeration in the room.
While the location is great, it’s also in a busy part of town that makes for a not so quiet stay. The same goes for the popular hotel restaurant that gets busy through the night.

Beautiful and well appointed boutique hotel in busy Kololo, and still quiet at night. Excellent and friendly service during day and at dinner, nice food and wine cards. Room 16 excellent for working travellers - extra quiet, large and with all amenities.
The breakfast service, both food and staff, does not live up to the standards of the hotel.

The rooms are beautiful. I love a boutique style hotel with nice furnishings.
Thé staff that attended to us was just rude and disrespectful .
We did not appreciate the call at 11pm telling us to move
our car nor the difference in treatment from other guests.
Management was understanding but it’s terrible how one person can change your whole experience.

Location - Excellent location in the Kololo area of Kampala. We walked to Acacia Mall (20 mins) and restaurants close by.
Room - Clean and comfortable.
Facilities - Very nice, the area for breakfast is very tranquil.
Staff - Very helpful and friendly.
Value for Money - Good.
Nothing, we would stay here again.

Breakfast was excellent
Room was overcrowded with furniture. Television was extremely difficult to use.

The breakfast was not consistent, from protioning, to breakfast contents. One day you would get bacon and the next not so much. Sometimes you recieved toast and sometimes you didnt and in addition, you were required to pay extra in cash to have the meal on your balcony.

comfortable bed and good mosquito net
excellent food
tastefully furnished
well located
luxury feel
water pressure in shower was a bit weak
a few amenities lacking eg tissues, milk to accompany tea/ coffee, guest information sheet but these are quite minor but could embellish luxury feel

Great room, well appointed. Everything really nice quality - lovely sheets, towels and great bathroom.
Good breakfast. Good evening meal. Great gin. Staff very attentive.
With our particular room, the view was not great - just an outside view. BUT we would definitely stay again and I would request another room

Beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, lovely and lively restaurant.
It is hard to find a socket that works in the room.

Excellent breakfast included in the room rate. The bed was really good and firm (not foam) with superb mosquito protection. The room decor was homely and elegant. Good cleaning, friendly staff.
There was some noise one night from staff gathering near my room and vehicles in the adjacent courtyard but nothing too bad, really. Plenty of TV channels (DSTV) on a big screen but the quality level of the channels was very low (old soaps, religious TV, and cheap shows). One night I wanted to watch a movie and relax but nothing was available; BBC News was de facto the only channel of interest to me. This is compensated however by a reasonable internet connection so not really a concern.
