Very good

Gill and Ken were amazing and so welcoming. They anticipated our needs and offered every kindness to make our stay enjoyable.

The pods were located in the front garden of Gill and Kens suburban home which was a surprise. They have thoughtfully placed the pods and a little bothy for getting together in their pretty garden.

Glampods for Cairngorms exploration

Staying in a glamping pod is a kind of adventure, but pod's have almost all, if not more, than good hotel room. You just need to be a little smart as people designed it. Pods are cosy and well equipped. If something is not there, you will find it in the boothy or common room. Place is located in a side of the main road, so it's calm and silent. You can easily walk to all the shops. Owners are very friendly and helpful. You can feel like in your own yard! Highly recommended as a base to explore Cairngorms.

Amazing and fun hosts! Extremely comfortable, clean, and well equipped pods and brothy.

Eriskay was one of the best places we stayed over our 3 weeks in Scotland! Ken and Jill were both inspiring, enthusiastic, and really fun hosts. The pods were immaculate and well stocked. The bed was especially comfortable, plugs were available your devices, a specialized coffee maker at hand, and both good lighting and privacy window shades inside. We had a grill available to us next to our pod and all the kitchen equipment you could use located was available in a common-area Brothy. This inviting Brothy was a really great area for meeting and getting to know other guests as well, which is always one of the more enjoyable aspects of travel. If you don't want to make your AM breakfast here, then don't hesitate to enjoy their home-cooked Scottish breakfast with the most amazing fresh baked goodies made by Jill herself. Ken went over the top in making sure we were satisfied with every little facet of our stay. Excellent location; minutes from Cairngorm hikes, multiple options for in-town supplies, coffee houses, etc.

Be aware that the shower is quite small and contained within the toilet area. This wasn't a problem for us (so not really a "don't like" since it's very practical), but for larger people, may be difficult to negotiate showering. It got a bit "steamy" inside when damp or raining due to how airtight the pods are; again not a "don't like", but something, again, to be aware of as you may need to leave the door open for a while. That said, it never got cold inside; always quite comfy in fact.

Lovely hosts, comfortable glamping pods, excellent location.

We loved our stay here, the pod was very cosy and clean and Ken and Gill were amazing, friendly hosts. Particularly enjoyed the breakfast. Fantastic location right in Aviemore close to restaurants and shops but tucked away from the main road.

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the area was really peaceful. Walking distance into town for dinner. Breakfast was delicious and the choice for this was great. Would definitely recommend.

Exceeded all expectations - we will be back

Exceeded all expectations, pods were well designed, cosy and comfortable, close to everything. Hosts were amazing, breakfast was best food we had in aviemore. We were sad to leave. And will defonately be back. Coffee pod machine and music speaker was a great touch, as was the bbq. They really have thought of everything. Pods were top spec and like brand new, extremely clean. Location was safe, and quiet, within a short walk from centre and close to all activities.. We could even watch the Nye fireworks from the pod door. . Hosts made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. They made our stay.

There is something special about Eriskay B&B

Glad we stayed at Eriskay B&B, Gill and Ken are so welcoming and they will make sure your stay is comfortable. We stayed for one night at double bedroom, it was cozy and comfortable. It has all the practical touch. May be next time when we visit Aviemore will like to experience Glamping Pods at Eriksay. Thank you Gill and Ken for serving the delicious breakfast, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And thank you for letting us watch world cup final. I hope we will meet again, say hi to Laila, cat (sorry don't remember his name) and parrot 🦜

100% Would Recommend

It was a cozy little pod and the property is a 5 minute walk from the centre of town. Plenty shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Ken is a terrific host and it's plain to see he loves doing it.

Nothing. There's not a single thing I didn't like. There were no issues with the pod but len made it clear that he was readily available should any issue come up.

Beautiful place, excellent facilities, first class food, warm and friendly staff - hope to return!

We were expecting basic camping facilities however the pod was like a micro hotel room inside and included everything we could possibly need, and so clean - we were very impressed! The breakfasts we had were first rate, absolutely delicious and really set us up each day. The location is right in the centre of the town and within walking distance of the shops and alot of the tourist attractions, but it's actually a very beautiful and quiet setting where the pods are, and the bothy was an excellent bonus to sit after a busy day and enjoy a takeaway and a game of scrabble. I think what made our stay extra special were the hosts, Ken and Gill who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and gave us some excellent tips for some of our walks. Lovely warm people with the most adorable pets!

Maybe the weather?? Although we still managed to get sunburnt despite the rain!
