We liked the cozy beautiful house in the calm neighbourhood of Buchenau. We were greeted so warmly by Frau Falkenmayer with sparkling wine and water. She showed us around her house and garden so nicely. Although we spoke very little German, she was very patient to translate everything she wanted to convey to us. We loved the whole ambience of the house.

Had to get a taxi to & from the main town of Boppard so we could eat and get a beer ,€10 each way. Food and bars along the river front where plentiful stunning scenery. The soul bar would be my local if I lived there.
The guest house owners where very nice, helpfull, they used Google translator German to English. Chuck the phrase book. ENJOY.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The apartment is lovely and the kitchen was the best we had on our trip.
