Good

The house is very nice, clean, has a generous amount of kitchen utensils, nice pool and great location on a golf course.

There are 2 villa's. We didn't end up in villa l'Oiseau Bleu but in the villa next door. Our villa had 4 bedrooms instead of the 5 villa l'Oiseau Bleu has. 4 bedrooms was absolutely fine for us but it is nice to know this before you book. The owner said it was mentioned on our booking, but this was not the case. I found this a bit misleading. The airco didn't work in the living spaces and in 3 of the 4 bedrooms for our whole stay, which was very inconvenient. We had to leave the windows open at night as the bedrooms became too warm to sleep but as a result we had many mosquito's in the bedrooms.

Best Villa in Essaouira!

We loved everything, the peace the cleanliness and the comfortable beds.

It got a little warm and the AC wasn't really that powerful, but this could just be personal preference. Everything was great.

Amazing villa but needs some maintenance

Location was amazing, right on the golf course! A beautiful villa with a view over the ocean from it's roof terrace. The place is located in a gated community so it's a safe homebase to leave your things. The concierge makes delicious meals on request for an amazing price!

The pool heating was broken, so we didn't get to enjoy a heated pool. The same was the case for a lot of electrical issues, they got fixed by the end of the week but we didn't have outside lights for the first days. The instructions on getting into the property was unclear as we couldn't get past the guards, had to call the owner to figure out what to do.

Exceptional

The location is stunning - walk from the back garden onto the golf course, over the the sand dunes and onto the beach. The villa complex is guarded at the entrance so it is a very safe area. The villa is perfect with a great pool and gardens. Plenty of places to enjoy the good weather. The pool is cleaned each day so is always spotless. Inside the villa the facilities are top rate. Kitchen has all the equipment you need - and all working perfectly. The 4 bedrooms are all ensuite - while we only used the master a group of 8 could comfortably stay with space inside and out

This was an exceptional villa and we had a great experience.

The location is a amazing. We loved the view and the privacy.

The main bathroom in the hall had some sort of a leak that caused a bad smell. We had to call Nadia to come clean it during our stay.

Peaceful and private place to relax away from the crowds.

The villa is fantastic. Clean and has everything that you need from Nespresso maker to dishwasher and washing machine. We opted for breakfast from Nadia and it was excellent, in fact the bread was great for lunch too. She quietly lets herself in in the morning and you get up to a lovely breakfast and the kitchen is left immaculate - what a treat. Easy access to Essaouira which is 5 euro for a taxi but the max they take is 3 people. You can order a driver who can take larger groups so we used the same company all the time. Security at the gate of the community was reassuring but the area is very smart anyway with a large hotel a short drive along the golf course.

Overall lovely villa and good value for money

Beautiful setting and villa. Nadia and her lady were amazing

I think our villa Les Alizes next door to L’Oiseau Bleu was more tired. We visited next door for drinks and it was an updated version of our villa. When I booked I booked for LOiseau Bleu but only found out a few days before that I was in the other villa, which I had no idea even existed. I was anxious as 8 of us going to find out it was not the villa I had booked. When we arrived it is beautiful but worn/tired. The sun beds need replacing - the wood is rotten. Also have stayed in many high quality villas/hotels and I think it’s a nice touch when bathroom has basic shampoo/conditioner and body cream supplied. I am a little annoyed this was not the villa I booked through Booking.com so be careful when booking and make sure you get what you expected.

This place was fantastic! Very clean and stylish with everything you needed

Couldn’t have been better. The Villa L'Oiseau Bleu was beautiful, luxury, spacious and equipped with everything I needed (and lots of lovely touches / local design). Andre was very helpful and the communication was super easy with him. Furthermore, the location was great and near to all attractions (beaches, old medina , carrefour , and activities).

Superb

The villa was very beautiful, clean ... and the view was BREATH TAKING Unfortunately we were there when the flights were suspended due to the COVID-19 crisis ... We were supposed to stay for 3 nights .... but we end up staying for over a month During our stay we felt so comfortable ... every thing we needed was there, from a washing machine to an ice cream scope... I mean everything! it felt like home but with the most magnificent surroundings The villa is also located inside a compound so we felt very safe, and the compound security were very helpful when ever we asked for their help ... Our host Nadia and Andre the property owner, were very hospitable, and very accommodating to the frequent changes in our plans due to the crisis ... their first priority was to keep us safe and happy ... and for that we are very thankful Will definitely come back again
