Locality and the view

There was no warm water, kitchen was poorly equipped, nothing to cook with or on. Shocking you cant take warm shower.

Nice place for the family vacation. Location is perfect, near to sea. Beautiful view.

The owner's daughter in law guided us to our apartment when we arrived. She is very nice and helpful, and communicates perfectly in English. The apartment is clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony is beautiful, you can see the sea from there with the shores of Rijeka and the Krk island. Lovran itself is also beautiful. The house is within 5 minutes of walk from the beach, 10 minutes walk from the downtown with the restaurants and the nice walkpath all along the shores of the city. I really liked the nice little details in the house and the apartement. Paintings on the walls, nice little decorations in the staircases and the community areas.

Daughter-in-law was kind enough to give us the keys before regular check-in due to two apartments were already cleaned. Two apartments had a nice sea view and the common area was great (if you're allowed to use it).

We had a horrible experience at this accommodation. We made this booking with an option to pay at the end of our stay which is quite standard. However we were requested to pay 20% of total amount three months in advance otherwise we would lose our reservation or will need to pay a new/higher rate. Additionally apartments were described as apartments for 4 people therefore we asked in advance to prepare all 4 beds but they said it’s not possible. At the premises there is a common area for grilling which is also described in the add but we were only allowed to use it once during our 4-days stay. The rule was that one booking includes one time access to this area, even though we were renting all apartments in the house at the time. However if we would booked apartments separately (3 families - 3 bookings) we would be able to use it on 3 occasions. This just doesn’t make any sense. They removed AC remote controllers from our rooms, and we were asked to pay extra to use them even though that was included in the price when we booked the accommodation. At the end we did not get the invoice, even though we asked for it several times. Last but not least, we were required to leave our passports upon our arrival but hosts refused to give them back. After requesting them a couple of times they said we will receive them at the end after we pay everything. That means we were without our documents the entire stay.

The view was amazing! The place was clean.

Everything was old and cheap. The pictures on booking.com looked nicer, than it was in reality. The stove didnt work, the smell in the bathroom was funky. All in all, we were very disapointed for the price we paid.

The thing that I liked the most was the close proximity to the beach so that we didn't have to use the car and bother with finding a parking spot close to the beach. In addition, the apartment had a really nice balcony with an amazing view of the sea and the surrounding hills.

The apartment that we stayed in seemed like it is unfinished ... there were missing/removed electrical outlets next to the bed, there were unused mattresses crammed in the corner of the bedroom next to the closet and the bathroom lacked some minor stuff like a hairdryer and a stand where you can hand a towel. Additionally, some parts of the apartment looked really old (bathroom and the kitchen), and some parts look modern (bedroom, living room) and the mixture creates a really confusing vibe of the appartment. Overall it requires some more work until it can actually be called a Villa.

The property was high above the town with a good view of the sea. It had very convenient parking.

It was difficult to find at first. Our satnav found the street but we had along walk to find the property.

Playground for children was nice.
