The scenery, and the wooden cabin was lovely. The 2 bedroom cabin was very well equiped with cutlery, barbecue, fridge, and so on. Moreover, the owner is super nice and helpful. It felt like a complete package with the wooden cabin on the mountains.

I liked a lot about privacy of this accommodation.
It was six bedroom two story house. Just a little separate from other cabin´s whith lot´s of tree´s and foliage around. Firs´t thought´s were "just a another camping cabin with many around" but this one was not next to the other´s. I spen´t three days there with my family of six and it was perfect.
Kid´s loved that they had their own rooms. I loved that the house was not near other cabins´s.
I would recommend this for a big family who like´s to have space.
Lot´s of outdoor possibilities around, and Geiranger is really close too.
Ofcourse, if one need´s anything to be new as possible this might not be the place. Old style furniture, which in my opinion fit´s this place perfectly. Sturdy, rugged :-)

We had a 2 bedroom self contained cabin (number 10) but there were only 2 of us so enough space for us to spread out a bit. Very quiet and beds were confortable. Bathroom was very small but had great underfloor heating and fine for 2 of us. It was about a 25 minute drive from Geiranger but after we visited Geiranger we were glad we had chosen to stay outside town as it was very crowded with cruise passengers. It had a well equipped kitchen so we cooked all 3 nights. Not really any restaurants nearby anyway. Really enjoyed our stay. We thought it didn’t have Wifi but it did and it worked well.
Nothing except that they definitely need to put higher wattage lighting in their cabins.

Comfortable holiday cottage with a lot of room. Very quiet environment. The owner was very friendly and helped us out with providing a Wifi TP link. Nice drive to the Geiranger Fjord.
For the bathroom you have to go outside into a cabin attached to the cottage

Nice cabin, wonderful location
Bad water drain in the bathroom. A lot of the water stayed behind toilet and it was difficult to cleanup.

We are very experienced Booking guests. We are also familiar with the review system, which undoubtedly helps to separate the good places to stay from the others.
So, the mission here is to describe this home away from home most honestly and accurately for future guests.
Geiranger, Norway, is the most beautiful place in the world (even compared to Yosemite, where I used to work).
So being so close (20 Km, 20 minutes drive) is an excellent location for Kirsti’s place. We loved that, and we did love NOT to be in Geiranger itself since it is a very “touristic” village/city compared to Kirsti’s farm-type experience, which we loved.
The two-room cabin is very friendly and equipped well. And will welcome large family too. It does have everything you can expect, and we love the idea that there is NO TV. We were there in the middle of the summer, but in Geiranger, the temperature got below 10C.
This was OK, but the Rain was NOT easy to handle,
I don’t think Kirsti can change that 😊.
We encountered an issue that Kiristi tried to handle best when we forgot important prescription sunglasses. And for some reason, we missed the shipment. So I’m sure she was trying to send it to us during the week that we were in the area, but the package did NOT arrive. So I don’t know what to say about that.
Overall, Kirsti was very friendly and busy. And we appreciate her attempt to send the package.
This place is recommended.

A nice cabin, beautiful and quite location, close to the main road. The owner gave us everything we asked for, including recommendations for near by walks, which we gladly used.
The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We also had a nice terrace with barbeque place. 30 minutes driving to Geiranger
We liked everything

Wonderful location not far from the road (but no problem with noise of the cars). Very kind host. Clean room, small kitchen equipped with basics. Free EV charger offered by the host.
Sorry, that we had only one night. Would stay longer.

everything was clean and easy to find. had a great time!

this campsite has excellent arrangement and beautiful location and the sound of the river just next to it made it even more perfect. the kitchen is well equipped. and the bathroom had excellent facilities.
the bunk bed was a bit inconvenient for 2 adults. A roof/ cover for the patio for the rainy day would add even more value.

Location is excellent, staff at the reception was very helpful. Value for money
Everything was good , room was a bit small as we had a kid as well. Number of beds were perfect but the size of the room was small

Beautiful location and nice and cozy cabin.

Fast check-in, parking in front of the house.
Not clean, very worn out linens and pillows, stinky bathroom, very cold. The little heater did not compensate the cold in the bedrooms. We slept with a lot of clothes on. Not woth the money!

Nice house
Wide room but missed a mirror or a little shelf in it. Wi-fi only in commom areas is so old fashioned, doesn't make any sense.

Quite place on major scenic road in Norway. There are plenty interesting villages nearby.
