Our host was so kind and helpful! The home was perfect and private and we loved having an entire home to ourselves. It was very peaceful!

Gustavo, the owner was very attentive and has a car. He drove us everywhere. Breakfast, made by Dani was excellent and it had a country feeling.

Don Gustavo is an amazing host. Thenfacilities are quaint, the lodging comfortable. The breakfast was always ready when we were up and it was nice colombian cuisine. I really liked the hotnshowers since is a somewhat cold mountainous environment. But honestly don Gustavo and his friendliness made it worth every coloombian peso. He also offers to drive you up to the town of Filandia and pick you up.
Nothing negative to say during this visit. Will likely come back.

The hospitality of Gus really makes this place exceptional. He really makes sure that you are comfortable and that your needs are taken care of. He offers rides into town with his own car. He asks questions to make sure all your needs are taken care of. The place was clean and comfortable. It is a little outside of the downtown so it is quiet but not so far that you couldn't walk (although town is up a hill but easy to come back to). The lady that helps him is also very friendly and kind. Check in and check out were really easy. Thank you for a great stay!

Gustavo was the nicest person we have met in Colombia so far. He drove us to downtown in the morning, he helped us with the laundry and gave us a little packed lunch for the journey.
We recommend this place if you travel to Filandia!!!!!!!!

Don Gustavo was fantastic, really keen to make sure our stay was a great one. It was my wifes mothers birthday and the hotel organised a special birthday breakfast and decorations for her.
Was just one night this first trip but we will be back again soon!

Excellent location to town, and as you walked the land you can see something new. At night you can see the lights from town.

Don Gustavo took us to breakfast each morning and was incredibly kind and helpful...he is a very nice person and took the time to speak English with me in order to explain something a bit complicated for me in Spanish when necessary while he was incredibly cordial to my friend who only speaks Spanish. He also helped us to find our way around and to identify a great hike.
There really was nothing to complain about...we loved staying at La Gaviota and would happily return again.

The house and gardens were wonderful, it was a really peaceful place to stay and we loved having a house to ourselves! While the property is a few minutes out of town, Gustavo was available and happy to drive us in to town or pick us up at any time. He was such a great host! I imagine this would be a great place to stay with kids.
I wish we could have stayed a bit longer!
