A wonderful peaceful and scenic location with kind and welcoming hosts.
A beautiful idyllic cottage surrounded by lovely countryside. Waking up to the cows outside was a highlight!
The perfect location for local tourist spots such as Longleat and Bath. Ideal for families.
Nothing! Couldn’t fault it our stay.

Owners so friendly and helpful. Beautiful place to stay and easy access to everywhere
Nothing to dislike

Rural, not rural! A lovely countryside location but easy access to village and main roads.

Quiet country location. Well equipped cottage with a very comfy bed. One can get a good air flow through the cottage in the evening to cool it down in hot weather.
The night time security lights were a bit bright but others might find this reassuring.

Nick and Anji have a beautiful home in beautiful surroundings. The house was immaculate and really well equipped. Nick and Anji were also really accommodating with any requests. I will definitely be staying again.

Perfect location great for relaxing and getting away from it all but lots of great locations within a few miles to visit. Had a lovely meal at the local pub.
Beautiful farm and house.
No sharp knife or scissors. Not a big issue just stayed in one night cooking and very difficult without a sharp knife but we managed it so not really a moan more of an observation for the owners to consider putting in.

Sofa was a little uncomfortable.

Everything but particularly the location
Nothing!

Location and hosts.
The layout of the cottage, the lack of instruction manuals for equipment, the kitchen work area was not very practical. some shelves for storing clothes would, for us, be more convenient than small drawers and dressing table. However, we understand that the hosts intend to take actions on the comments that we made directly to them. Very helpful people.

The accomodation was exceptional. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, cosy and warm.( our stay was at the end of September).
We were able to take our two dogs too, by prior arrangement.
The owners were very welcoming and the location was brilliant.
Sat Nav directions got us to the village but we had to ask a local where the farm was. It was down a farm track but no obvious signpost. That's our only criticism.
8.0
The location and solitude.
The two bathrooms, the bed was comfy.
The living room wasn’t very cosy and the sofa rather hard and stained.

clean, with up to date modern facilities, private, safe location with wonderful views plus owners Cows as a morning alarm call to remind you that your on a working farm
no local shops with in walking distance from farm, private road access to & from farm over grown with brambles in few places which were unavoidable and you had to choose which side of the car to have scratches on managed light scratches to all four panels on near-side of vehicle.

This property felt like home and enabled freedom to do as we wished.

Good views.
Our visit was during the biggest heatwave in years, and there was no shade at all. The owner herself commented on this and said she had been meaning to buy parasols for years. There was ample opportunity after this comment for her to visit a shop and buy one, but no effort was made, so we had to stay indoors until the sun went down, very disappointing.
Access to a bbq was important to me and the property description said one was available. However after requesting the use of it we were told it was a disposable bbq and the previous visitors must have used it! Yes the owners finally purchased one for us, but long after we had gone out to get our own.
Also bear in mind, although dogs are welcome, there is no enclosed garden, ( despite ample room to do this) and the owners dog is not friendly to other dogs. This did not make for a relaxing break.
I have stayed in many many cottages, but this visit felt very much as if all the owners cared about was profit, and not about their guests. I have never before posted a negative review. But our visit was so spoiled by lack of effort. The bath doesn’t drain because the plug is disgustingly full of hairs, there is no dustpan and brush to clean up any mess, I could go on. There is just a complete lack of attention or care.

The property is situated at the end of a narrow laneway. Once on the property there is ample space for parking and it offers good views of both sunrise and sunset. You can see Cley Hill off in the distance. Farm property including cows and pheasants. Very comfortable stay. Three cats and dog on the property which our granddaughter really liked.
A bigger fridge would be nice but owner offered use of a backup fridge in the event we overshopped. There wasn't anything I could really complain about; Nick & Anji went out of their way to make sure we were looked after!
