Overall we loved the location and unit.

Nothing really except that the penthouse is on the 7th floor and there are no elevators. it is a long haul to the top especially with suitcases.

Great appartment, host & location!

A great appartment with everything you need for a stay (including a washing machine). You get amazing views from the roof terrace. Location is fantastic - everything is on your doorstep. Host met us to check in and explained everything about the appartment clearly and where everything in yhe local area was & was available on messenger to answer any questions.

While this is outside of the hosts control, there appears to be a 'party' air bnb flat below, which played music / made noise into the early hours. This didn't affect our sleep - it could however do to others.

Fantastic apartment in the centre of Split

Excellent apartment, perfect location close to everything we needed (plenty supermarkets and restaurants around, 3 minute walk from Riva, taxi rank opposite). The rooftop terrace was amazing - we watched many sunsets and some sunrises from up there. Both beds were comfy and a good size and the apartment was clean throughout. The air conditioning was also great, I was worried as I knew it was over 37⁰c on the day we were arriving but the whole apartment was kept constantly nice and cool. Marko who came to meet me to hand over the keys was very helpful and informative. The stairs can be seen as a negative by some people but it's the price we knew we had to pay to get the amazing rooftop views (hardly any buildings in the old town of split have elevators anyway) and it was definitely worth it! Thank you very much!

Exceptional

The location is central and the rooftop has a great view all round. The owner was super friendly and really fun. The beds were really comfy with quality mattresses. Rooftop is upstairs and not connected to the apartment, but there is also a tiny balcony. It was really good. Thanks!

Great. Location very very good. Be aware of parking & no elevator.

The location is fantastic - a very short walk to the waterfront / marina.

Three things - the first - there is no parking onsite and Googlemaps brought us to the inaccessible (by car) part of the area. The property is accessed through an impassible (by car) walkway where parking is a NO NO. You have to go around the back - which takes some doing - and public parking is a BEAR. The second is not a dislike - just something to be aware of. The room is 5-6 stories up (penthouse) and anyone not in good physical health (fat Americans!) is not going to be happy, By the time you make the top - w/luggage or groceries - you've gotten your excercise for the morning! Lastly they don't take a cc so you have to go get cash. Kind of a pain in this day and age.

Exceptional

Very clean and up to date. Many extra towels provided. Was so nice to have a washer as we’d already been gone a week elsewhere prior to checking in Marko patiently waited as we tried to find the parking lot to park our rental car. The apartment was extremely close walking distance to everything in old town. Many restaurants, cafes, shops nearby. Marko pointed out a market as we walked from the parking lot. He and his Dad left us a bottle of wine from their winery which we enjoyed on the rooftop one evening.

As many other reviews mentioned, the stairs were our only complaint. It is 120 steps or 5 floors. Coming and going various times of the day to do things for us could mean climbing them 4;or 5 times a day. This could definitely be tough on some people. If stairs are at all a concern, this is not the place for you. But once up the stairs, everything in the apartment is wonderful.

Beautiful apartment and views and comfortable to relax. A real home from home

Majestic panoramic views of split. Well stocked and comfortable . Air con was excellent. Josippa who handed the keys over was very informative and friendly (and beautiful!)

My mother is 67 and struggled with the stairs to the apartment. Not a problem for younger people but for the elderly it is a tough challenge.

No lifts in property. Not ideal for older person to travel by stairs to your room.
