Friendly and comfortable home from home

Love this place, rooms always comfy and clean, staff are friendly and helpful, surroundings are gorgeous and breakfast is great!

Lovely location, friendly staff, clean and comfy room

Pretty location, nice modern room. Would have been slightly better if it was walking distance into town, but thats just personal preference. Breakfast was lovely, shame there were no pods for the coffee machines but overall would stay again.

Very pleasant.

The location was really good. The room and bathroom were lovely.

The sound proofing was poor between the rooms. You could hear next doors occupants talking.

An exceptional overnight stay !

We were greeted at reception and taken to our accommodation by the re ceptionist even though it meant changing buildings. Looked after exceptionally well. Super breakfast served by a smiling young lady making a great finish to our stay and start to our day.

Comfortable and friendly staff

The staff were very friendly and so helpful and the breakfast was particularly good .

The room was a little chilly - but we managed to sort it out ourselves.

Perfect family stay in a beautiful location.

Thank you for a great stay! Family room was perfect. Choice for breakfast was great and staff were so friendly and helpful. Grounds are beautiful. Loved the outside gym! Exceeded our expectations.

Only one comment for improvement was that the shower wasn’t very powerful.

It was OK for one night but wouldn't choose to come back in the future.

The room next to ours didn't have an ensuite bathroom so had to use the bathroom next to our room. This meant that throughout the night there was the opening and closing of their room door followed by the opening and closing of their bathroom door, then the same in reverse. There wasn't a safe walking route into Henley and a taxi was very expensive for the distance travelled. Disappointing as some of the reviews mentioned a nice walk into Henley.

Expected to have dinner & bar open, but would close at 8pm maximum so had to drive into town each night

Disappointing visit

Overall the location and breakfast were good

We stayed in a ground floor room and could hear the people talking late at night in the next room as the walls were so thin. This meant we had a very poor night’s sleep which spoilt our visit. The neighbours were not being noisy although it was late but the sound easily carried and we did not expect this and were disappointed as the room cost £180 for the night.

A nice relaxing stay

The setting is ideally located to walk into Henley-on-Thames and the grounds were nice. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of choice.

A comfortable and relaxing stay.

The room was lovely. The breakfast was delicious especially the hot pain au raisin and pain au chocolat!! The staff were very friendly too.

The location was a bit hard to find when it was dark but we got there in the end! Also, it was a shame food wasn't available in the evenings as we really didn't want to go back out in the foggy dark again!

charming location, lovely room and nice atmosphere. good location for Henley centre short drive away

stunning location

flood lights outside the property were on all night, which was quite a nuisance as caused the room to be bright in the night. the emergency lighting system in the room also caused unnecessary light at night. would strongly suggest the hotel consider changing their outdoor lighting system to automatically come on with movement and not on permanently. it will also save on their energy costs.

Overall great hotel and I'm sure even better in the summer months

Unfortunately an event was being held at hotel and therefore unable to eat in the restaurant after 7pm.

Badgermore 2 night stay.

Set in beautiful grounds of the golf club. Quiet, comfortable stay. Breakfast was very nice and great that rooms and bar was dog friendly. Only 1 mile from Henley, great location.
