Handy location for train station and bit of simple grub

it annoyingly had a few extra steps (rooms 212-215) so I had to carry them up from the lift, but I had heavy stuff so it's probably not an issue for most. And I assume if I requested in advance they'd have provided options.

Good.

Well situated but parking was far away a ten minute walk. Not good for an elderly person. Restaraunt was good, staff very good.

Had a great time there , it was quiet clean and very comfortable I will return when back in the area

My first time staying in a Wetherspoons hotel , it was good nice and quiet and good location

A bit confusing on arrival had a wait for someone to open up

Old historic hotel, but missing the charm. Feels like a budget hotel.

Covinient and ok English breakfast however it woud be good to know that you order at the bar. It was not obvious.

Room was smelly and stuffy which made the nights stay unpleasant especially in the summer. Windows only opened a few inches. Room was also very dark.

Bar area tables not cleared often enough. Spilt food etc left on tables and floor. At all times of day and evening. Ok in the mornings

Salisbury is very old so parking is nearby just ask reception for location - can’t pull up on narrow streets.

Sorry I booked there in the first place!

I'd paid for seven nights and arrived on Monday. Tuesday morning there was a note under my door saying the electricity was down and they were trying to fix it. About forty minutes later there was another note slipped under the door asking me, (and other people in the hotel,) to vacate ours rooms as they could fix the electricity. There was no one to speak to or anyone to give assistance. Then Saturday, I noticed the Kings Head was open again, I went to ask what would happen regarding the money I'd paid for the room - this was fully refunded. I accept things can break or need repairing, but this is the 21st century, how it things were so bad they couldn't open for six days!!!!

Very good

The staff, location, and the food at the pub were all great! The bathroom was nice! The shower was so nice for a cheap room.

The building is hundreds of years old so old building quirks are expected - the elevator was a little scary and only goes to the second floor so you have to carry your suitcases up a narrow curving staircase to the third floor. Shocking to Americans, there's no AC, lol 😬

Pleasantly surprised for a Wetherspoons (first stay in a hotel)

Centrally located. Room was surprisingly well presented and very comfortable.

We were given a quiet room at the back of the property but late night/early morning disturbances from staff working around us.

The building features. The river.

Only one of my room requests was made.....twin beds. No bath. Tiny shower cubicle. Tiny room, not suitable for 2 adults. Overlooking a busy road....boy racers driving around through the night and early hours, preventing sleep. Not top floor, and noisy upstairs neighbours.

Beautiful decor throughout

The only thing that was not good was the big step into the bathroom. Especially at night when its Dark and hard to see and you can quit easily fall and injure yourself, was very dangerous.

The location brilliant, the staff brilliant.

Exceptional

All of it, perfect for a quick last-minute trip to Salisbury! Very friendly staff and room exceeded expectation. Very clean, big and amazing bathroom

Bit loud downstairs but it was Saturday night so can't complain! No issues, lovely location and as always with Weatherspoons, exceptional value for money

I highly recommend a visit to this historical hotel

Very helpful friendly staff. Our room was excellent quality, very clean. I have a hip problem and found the bed to a high standard allowing me to be comfortable. The location allows you easy access to shopping and tourist attractions, we found everything within walking distance. My only complaint was the room was a little too warm but easily remedied. I highly recommend having the breakfast, my partner and I are both vegetarian and we were offered a lovely cooked breakfast.

Nicely renovated rooms Spectacular old pub Central location Noise from pub below virtually zero in our room Very comfortable & clean Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in room. Good WiFi. Water pressure was great!

Staff a little indifferent towards us but I'm starting to feel like that's just England.
