Okay but a little loud music
It is an okay hotel with good amenities like the bar and outside setup for time away from work. The rooms are spacious but make sure you ask them to clean because I found some stains on the table and once I asked all was done to perfection.
Rooms are not sound proof so if you are not partying it can be noisy. They should mention the music in the advert for the hotel. Also should provide the password to the wifi when checking in so you don't have to look around later. But in general good value for the rate.

Spacious room and clean bath facilities with hot water was the only plus side to LeBaobab.
Breakfast was not included in the room rate as was advertised. Eating places were a bit too far from the hotel to get breakfast. However, the street food kiosks were nearby for an evening meal.
The management. I Would not recommend this hotel for Anglophone speaking guests, unless one has a bilingual language background. The manager only spoke French and the local version of Mandinka. He had poor guest relations skills and clearly showed his annoyance with us when we checked out for another hotel. The hotel was too far from the International Conference Center (CICB)

It overall good!
The bed was comfortable and the meals were great! The receptionists were very friendly as well.
It smelled really bad in there. The smell was not from visitors, but probably from the building itself or some type of products they used in there or the paint. They need some air freshener of some kind in there.

A clean and safe place to stay while in Bamako
I was glad to see the cleanliness and decor of the facility. On duty clerk was gracious to call transportation for me when I needed to travel in the local area. Kudos for that. The ease of ordering food was great.
The staff should have checked with their manager to validate pre-payment for my week long stay. Instead I was accused of not paying and was asked to pay a second time. Maybe the language barrier (I speak English and they French) was the issue. It left a very bad taste in my mouth. No one likes a claim of wrong doing, especially for skipping out on a bill as they are leaving a foreign country.
