Heidi is really nice person, she organized a trip for us to Isla Plata, Puerto Lopez is great place for enjoying fishes market (Heidi taught us how to prepare shrimps), nice terrace with kitchen and wiew, clean room, cold shower but it is not problem in hot weather, also take some ears plugs for sleeping because of the cock (they are everywhere in Ecuador) :))

Heidis place is the perfect place to have some calm days in Puerto Lopez. The view from the open kitchen on the sea is amazing and you can buy some fish for your lunch or dinner just on the opposite side of the road. Heidi is super kind and helpful! Another point: Heidi gives shelter to 4 homeless cats which are super cute! <3

It is incredibly loud. There are a millions roosters and dogs around that never shut the fck up. Its impossible to sleep after 3 a.m. would not recommend. No hot water in the rooms.

Heidi was very kind, location was amazing, although we kinda were taken aback by our room, we got used to it. Heidi was very responsive (once she provided WhatsApp), gave local tips, and helped us book our Isla De Plata tour for the next day. The tour guide, Richard?, was very nice and knowledgeable, not sure company name, but boats name was Luz de Luna. Our room opened to the kitchen on the second floor patio, this patio would be used by many guests and got a little noisy right outside our room, but if we had been in the mood to socialize maybe wouldn’t have been a problem. Decent kitchen available, but maybe used by others. Very nice view of the street and peer and bay with fishing boats and lots of action. Despite feeling our room was a little run down on first inspection (no door to bathroom-only curtain, no shower head and only cold water in room-hot shower available downstairs in some other room), we ended up really enjoying the space, mostly for the location.

Heidi is a a great host. The beds are really comfortable and the hostels location is perfect.

Heidy is an amazing hostess, she made excellent recommendations. The place is located in front of the beach where they embark and disembark the Tours to any place. I recommend 100% to stay with Heidy.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is right next to the ocean. Heidi was very welcoming.

There is only cold water, which was not too bad because it is in general warm.

I felt like I received very good value for my money. The place is very close to the beach and there are many nice restaurants around. The place has Cici, the nicest dog you’ll meet and Heidi will always help you with any question!

Amazing view of the fishing boats and beach, cute dog, and wonderful owner who offered great travel advice and tips of local tours/ things to do. This place has a super chill vibe and we didnt want to leave.
