Everything was great with the home and stay. We had only one concern, the cleaning person let two of the guests into the home without knowing who they were.

nice, clean, about what you'd expect for a higher end rental out of season. Lots of stuff for kids ages 3-12. That's a nice touch for the nicer more expensive rental homes.
The only negative was that the dishwasher didn't work. We were there for 5 days spending Thanksgiving, but we made do. I'd stay there again for sure. Mai was great, very attentive and very personable.

Fantastic property and the hosts are tremendous!
Better than the description, this is a luxury beach house that has everything you need. Very comfortable, and exceptionally equipped, we wanted for nothing. The hosts were incredibly helpful, and much appreciated. We had the time of our lives and look forward to another opportunity to visit Galveston. I recommend this property very highly; it is well worth the price. You will not be sorry, it will make your Galveston trip memorable. Thanks to Mai for all her help.

Thank you to Mai and her role in communicating with us to setup this wonderful trip. Highly rated this house and would definitely return for another round. Beautiful house, great service and amenities and nice location to everything.

The Seaglass house was a lovely location for our family gathering. It is well located on the East End of Galveston and we enjoyed having the beach to ourselves early in the morning.
The house has plenty of space and the beds were quite comfortable.
The only regret is we were so busy I ran out of time to try out the claw foot tub in the primary bathroom. :) If stairs are an issue there is a bedroom on the first floor off of the kitchen with a bathroom next door.
Kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of beach chairs, towels and toys to keep everyone occupied.
We did have a slight issue with the septic system which is typical on an island. Mai & Tom had someone on sight the next day to address the issue, even on a Sunday. Mai was very communicative and informative throughout the visit. Check in and out were easy and simple.
Thank you for a lovely weekend,

We loved our location on East Beach in Beachtown! So close to the places we wanted to visit. The beach isn’t crowded and the little neighborhood is super safe.
The house was a nice size for the 7 of us. All adults and 1 child. There was a bedroom/playroom combo that was nice for us.
The kitchen is superbly outfitted. The beds/linens are wonderful too.
The house was super clean and Tom and Mai were so easy to work with!

The rental was perfect for our group of friends looking for a relaxing beach escape. The house itself was beautiful and well stocked (even had a Nespresso!). The location was perfect for us with a short walk to beach (and also tents/chairs for sitting on the sand). Communication was great. Mai was very helpful. Highly recommend this house/location!

Had a great time! 4 adults and 4 little ones all 3 and under stayed and the home was perfect for us. Short walk to the beach. Nice neighborhood. Tons of beach gear were supplied as well as towels. Toy/playroom was a great bonus! There was construction going on in the neighborhood while we were there but it didn’t bother us.

Overall, we liked this place for our sons, their SOs, and 2 grandkids. Things you may want to know.
1. Very well maintained and relatively new.
2. 21 steps up and another 18 to 2nd floor.
3. Doors are a bit wonky to unlock/lock and need fixing.
4. Sounds minor but very irritating. The handrails have the wrong paint, prep, or both and paint flakes off. Soon flakes are EVERYWHERE - you, your clothes, your car, inside the house etc.
5. Kitchen is very well equipped in all aspects - appliances, cookware, plates, glasses, etc. 3 coffee pots so all bases covered.
6. There is only 1 (uncomfortable) chair, so if you want to curl and read.....not many options.
7. Sofa in living room forces you to "slouch" as the base is very deep. Overall, not very comfortable.
8. No nightstands at beds so no lighting to sit in bed and read.
9. 2nd frig in garage is very handy.
10. LOTS of stuff for the beach - chairs, towels, a wagon, etc.
11. Outdoor shower (in garage) keeps sand etc. out of the house.
12. 5 minute walk to the beach.
13. Lots of new construction occurring so noise of hammering, loud music, and yelling. While not very obtrusive when we were there, be aware they are about to start directly next door which will block any view of the water (which is very limited as is) and will be quite noisy (we were there until 21 December 2021). Also construction vehicles are all over the narrow road, making entry/exit non trivial.
14. Claw foot tub is a bit of a head fake as the water pressure to it was so low/slow it was unusable. The tub in the bath between BR 2 and the kids room was almost impossible to use to bathe children due to the door configuration.
All in all, these issues were annoyances vs. showstoppers. They're tolerable for a few days. Love being on East Beach. Would I go back to this house? Maybe, but I would verify construction is done on this street at a minimum.

The house had all the necessities including cookware, children toys, beach toys, canopy, wagons, and a grill. I over packed because this was our first visyto this property. The neighborhood is nice and a short walk to a private beach access. The house is also close to most of the island restaurants and attractions. The property management communicated regularly and was very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a really nice weekend at this property. The house was equipped even better than described. Very well-stocked kitchen. The garage is loaded with beach toys, tents, wagons, etc that other guests have left behind. Our kiddos loved the boogie boards and sand tools :) Communication with Mae was great. She was proactive with check-in information, checked in to make sure all was as promised and seemed to genuinely want us to have a great experience. And we DID!

Fantastic last minute getaway
The property owner is incredibly responsive, helpful and kind. We booked our three night stay one day before we came.
The house was perfectly located close to the beach and the community pool. It’s in a very quiet, nice end of Galveston, where we had a nice, relaxing stay. It’s also close to great restaurants by UTMB and a quick drive to the Strand.
The house is very nice and clean. The bedrooms are laid out well with the bunk bed room in the middle, allowing me to be one room away from my daughter. The house has great decks with views of the beach and amazing cross breezes that allowed us to sit outside all hours comfortably.
There was construction on new properties close by, but the work hours were limited and the noise wasn’t obtrusive. It didn’t bother us in the slightest.
I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a luxury getaway a five minute walk to the beach. We plan to return!
