Loved everything, just as good as the previous times we’ve stayed. Dinner and breakfast outstanding. 👌
Can’t think of anything!

The room is easily accessed - very spacious, warm, clean and a comfortable bed. The en-suite is a large room with a big walk in shower (lots of hot water).
The cooked breakfast had undercooked fried eggs, undercooked black pudding and overcooked bacon. No toast offered after.
Sourdough bread only.
A bowl of yogurt with a little granola sprinkled over and a small spoonful of defrosted mixed fruit.
Think I'm out of date with breakfast.
Pulls on headboard and throw on bed (dogs allowed on the bed)?

Breakfast and dinner - lovely food and presentation. Room was clean and comfortable
The only thing missing was a hanging rail in the bedroom and a luggage type rack or shelf

Incredible building, wonderful setting and location. Beautifully designed and kept historic pub, great location to explore the Cotswolds. Excellent rooms and facilities. Beautiful beer garden
Food was absolutely terrible. Absolute bargain at £100 a night inc breakfast but they really don't know what they're doing in the kitchen. I don't visit the Cotswolds to eat tasteless Italian dishes or 'Asian inspired deep fried prawns'. Use your local products, re-write the menu, the head chef need to sort himself out!

breakfast and dinner very good room nice and comfortableB
Being an old building the floor is uneven in places. I feel the staff should tell guests this when checking in. Also signage should be put up warning guests. i did trip up when going to my room causing myself to fall

Just the general feel of the place. Always friendly and welcoming. Been coming here for 15 years and always excellent.
Bit of mould on ceiling in the bathroom of the Churchill room.

Known problem with hot water in the shower. Advertised free parking but this was limited during the day.

A beautiful location, looks gorgeous from the outside. Our accommodation initially looked lovely.
strange first impression when we arrived, not a very friendly welcome. The website leads you to believe it’s more of a pub but it’s definitely a restaurant. Only 2 tables and a small bar to have drinks if you don’t want to eat. We were told no food can be ordered in the bar area, however a local couple ordered and ate in the bar!?
Our room was a small cottage outside of the main building and although initially looked lovely, had lots of cobwebs and marks on the walls which could easily be removed. Mould on the walls by the door to the courtyard garden. Lots of different teabags but no ‘normal’ breakfast tea, only herbal, a coffee machine with Tassimo pods which was a nice touch, but nothing to indicate which pods were which coffee. But not really anything worth complaining about. However we had no sleep at all, there was a loud noise made by the heating system every half an hour, not possible to ignore or sleep through. We were also woken by slamming door and someone stomping up stairs to the storage room above us, and throwing a metal cask. Upon questioning that in the morning we were told it is a store room and would have been a staff member! Breakfaat menu was limited, no offers of juice/water etc but was a friendlier welcome in the morning than we received at check in. There is no reception like you have in a hotel, so no phone to call and ask for assistance with anything, so we had to wait until the morning to complain.

gorgeous rooms.
lovely staff. great food.
dog friendly throughout. we very much enjoyed our stay and would like to come back.
we were told
to access our rooms from outside as there were group parties booked in the room leading to our staircase. Not really what you want with an 81 year old family member. however staff were very lovely.
