Bedroom OK

Only Continental breakfast available, and limited. Advised that cooked breakfast available close by in the village! What really annoyed me was that, in order to book 2 rooms, one for myself and wife, and one for my sister, that I had to pay double occupancy for both. Room rates were high, reflecting Bank holiday weekend.

Excellent location in the heart of Snowdonia. Staff were very friendly. Room clean and well furnished with large bathroom. Kitchens were closed when we first arrived so only a continental breakfast on offer which was adequate for our short stay.

Room service is only on request which wasn’t pointed out to us on arrival. I think room service should be a given in a hotel. The room was a little cramped but in contrast the bathroom was huge - a better balance between the two would be better.

it was lovely, very nicely refurbished, a lot of thought and care went into the refurbishment. just a few tweaks needed to get it perfect - but otherwise it was great. The bedrooms were amazing and a great comfortable bed.

no toiletries in the bathroom- we stayed 3 nights and the room was not made up once during our stay. the towels were not changed, the bed not made up and the tea, coffee and milk in the room not replaced. had to ask for a toilet roll to replace the ones we used.

Location was great, hotel was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly.

No toiletries provided at all - we were not informed of this beforehand. So after driving 7 hours to get there, arriving late at night, and then finding out there is no soap in the bathroom... not great. No hot water first day - though this got resolved the following day. Very limited meal options due to low staffing. Rooms not cleaned following the first night due to low staffing. No wifi at all in the hotel, and only certain networks work (EE/Tesco). We found out that this hotel only recently reopened, and so these items will likely be addressed in the coming weeks. However, given there were so many issues, the price for these rooms should have been lowered accordingly.

It was closed when we got there so spent the first 5 hours of our holiday trying to find alternative accommodation. They had already taken payment. too.
