We have stayed once before at the same time of year (late June). Sometimes when returning to a place, you see it or feel it differently. This time for us was just as good, if not better than before. Perhaps that was because the weather was absolutely perfect for "time-out" in the countryside! The peace and quiet was somehow more noticeable on this occasion, but we never had any feeling of being remote. Loads of local summer activities - close to the Norfolk Broads (River Waveney) at Beccles and the coast between Lowestoft and Southwold.
There is a blue bin outside one so one can properly recycle. A small indoor bin for recycling would be useful.

Everything was fabulous, we all enjoyed our stay at The Cabin.
It’s such a peaceful and relaxing property, and all of our needs were catered for.
Thank you for the extras too, (wine, milk, fruit and chocolates), plus the tea, coffee etc.
We plan to return in the very near future.
Nothing.

This property was fantastic, the hosts had thought of everything to make a stay at The Cabin so enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing.
The extras like the wine, milk, fruit and chocolates were an added bonus, plus the tea, coffee etc.
We plan on returning as soon as possible.
Nothing to dislike about the property.

Great location for us ,
The owner was very welcoming
Would certainly book again
the layout of the cabin was excellent
Only small issue was hornets nest which reduced ability to sit outside

Quiet and peaceful. Comfortable bed and sitting area. Everything worked well. Front garden pretty with flowers and a beautiful view.
Poor sound on the TV. Back garden a bit of a mess and not so attractive as the front, even though the patio sitting area is at the back. It might be worth warning visitors that there is a public footpath running along the fence at the back, not much used but nonetheless a small threat to privacy.

quiet in lovely surroundings
not keen on the artwork

There was no breakfast, location was lovely with views over the waveney Valley.
I would have liked a TV in the bedroom also better lighting in the kitchen area.

The location was very good nice and peaceful, it was spotless, the sitting out area at the rear of the property was just what you needed after a day exploring and it was wonderful to have the option of eating inside or out.
I would have liked a bit more lighting in the kitchen area. Also would have liked a basic first aid kit (cut my finger and could not find a plaster)

Lovely accommodation with the comforts of home. Peaceful location on a quiet country lane.

Location was perfect.... very quiet yet close enough to Beccles for all amenities. We liked the south facing garden and appreciated the gifts of milk and wine in the fridge on arrival.
A knife sharpener... perhaps it is a rule that any knives in properties being rented should not be sharp... but surely they should be able to cut a tomato?

A lovely quiet and peaceful location. Cabin contained the amenities we needed. A bathroom for each bedroom was great. Clean kitchen, interesting gardens, a nice decked area to watch the birds.
The single bed was very hard (I can't comment on the double). The sofas were old and uncomfortable. Placement of power sockets quite inconvenient (and not all were functional). I recommend an extension cord be supplied. Some questionable art work.

Very high standard of accommodation and facilities. We appreciated the welcome items in the fridge. A lovely spot for a short break.

We previously stayed at the Cabin so knew the parking and location was ideal for us. We enjoyed it so much we booked for a full 7 nights this time.
There was only my husband and I staying at the Cabin so there was sufficient crockery for us. However if there had been four adults, additional plates, bowls and mugs would have been essential. Also there was no umbrella for outside on the patio. We had a very hot week, but couldn't sit outside because there was no shade. Again there was sufficient seating for two of us but not for four.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at The Cabin as we absolutely love it here. Snuggled in the middle of the countryside, the farmland which surrounds the property encourages wildlife and we were so pleased to see a greater spotted woodpecker, a little owl and even a red-legged partridge in the garden during our stay. The decking was wonderful for al fresco dining and the cabin itself is very comfortable. In the evenings, we took advantage of the public walk behind the cabin where we saw birds of prey above the fields, a muntjac and a roe deer eating buttercups. The Cabin is an exceptional property which we enjoy staying in and will continue to do so as long as we are able to. Thank you for creating a welcoming haven of tranquillity.
We like to cook our own meals instead of eating out and think it would be good to have some new knives and a few other new utensils. Maybe guests could have an inventory book to jot down what they might find useful to have.

Splendid out of town location adjacent open fields. Spacious garden with a useful 18th century cannon, sunny patio and a billion birds. House was perfectly prepared to Covid requirements and with a good and thoughtful welcome pack. Hosts were very helpful, welcoming and attentive.
We liked everything!
