Really enjoyed my stay

The breakfast was good , had to wait a while for food to be topped up as it was busy . Staff were lovely & enjoyed a drink at the bar

The bed was uncomfortable for me I’m not sure if it was because it’s 2 mattresses together but it was uneven and gave me a back ache for the 3 nights I stayed , my partner was fine … I still enjoyed my stay :0)

Emplacement idéal mais trop chère par rapport aux prestations on parle tout de même de 250 euros la nuit.

Overall, I thought the hotel was not good value for money. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Staff were helpful. Room very clean. Breakfast was ok. Neighbourhood seemed quiet.

The room had NO window. It was claustrophobic. Toilet and shower area was very cramped. Everything was white plastic. It was like being in a hospital.

Location great, clean and comfortable

I left my straighteners in the room and phoned 24 hours later and housekeeping had kept them safe. I was so impressed with this.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and modern with very basic rooms but would not stay again.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and modern. The rain shower head in the shower was nice however the water pressure was lacking.

We stay in hotels frequently but would not stay in this hotel again. The room did not have very many amenities even though it was clean, comfortable and modern. It was very basic. We had 3 different rooms at this hotel as we were traveling as 5 family members. The bathrooms were not private unless you had the accessible room. There was a frosted glass shower cubicle and a separate glass toilet cubicle with the sink being in the open in the area of the room with the shower and toilet. This area was open to the bed area. My sister in laws staying together had no privacy from each other for bathroom needs or getting dressed. One room had a chair and no other place to sit except on the bed. The other 2 rooms only had a stool to sit on. There was very little places to put things. There were no hooks to hang towels or clothes on anywhere. When you took a shower you had to come out of the shower wet and cross the room to get a towel. The shower did not have a place to put toiletries, the floor was slick and there were no grab bars. It was shower walls and the faucet. You also had no privacy to get dressed or a place to put your clothes close to the shower. There was very little furniture in the room and a small place to put one suitcase and hang a few clothes. There were very few electric outlets or USB ports. There was one USB port by the bed, everything else was across the room. We could not hang out in any one of the rooms as there was no place to sit. There was no place at the hotel lobby or main floor area to sit and socialize. They had 2 chairs in the lobby off in the corner. I have never stayed in a hotel so basic and unfriendly. I have traveled all over the United States, Asia and Europe and never stayed at a place like this. It would be great for a single person or a couple that wanted a very very basic clean and comfortable room. The family members traveling with us were very disappointed in this hotel. It was their first time traveling out of the USA.

Disappointing and uncomfortable stay

Room was clean and location good

Heating was either too hot or too cold and couldn't be controlled from the room, and it had to stay on all the time since the windows didn't open. It then resets every night at midnight it's noisy and lit up the room. The room was like sleeping in some kind of spaceship all clinically white with weird mood lighting...just wasn't my thing I'm afraid. When I asked the front desk for assistance with the heating controls they looked really annoyed I'd interrupted their conversation and basically dismissed me without helping.

Petit déjeuner copieux et diversifié. A 5 minutes du bus pour l'aéroport. Proximité de la rue Rose Street. Parc à proximité. Situation dans le nouvelle ville idéale. Chambre silencieuse. On entend pas les portes du couloir ni le son extérieur .

Manque un distributeur de boisson "fraiche". Il y a un distributeur mais à température ambiante.

Such a prime location for anyone wanting to explore Edinburgh. Cozy rooms and approchable staff.

The location is central - very close to the heart of Edinburgh. The front desk is 24/7, very convenient. The pricing is affordable. The room itself is cozy, comfy and clean.

You could smell the kitchen through the heating/air con and corridor doors slamming shut.

Comfortable Stay

Location is pretty central to most sites you may want to visit. Castle was within 20 minutes walking distance. Old town shopping, historical sites,gardens, pubs and restaurants are between 10-15 minutes walking distance. Ubers are close by if required to Yacht Britannia and the airport. The property had a gym which was a plus for us. The hotel is pretty quiet and even though it’s on a main street the only time you heard anything was police sirens later at night. Staff at the front desk are helpful and very responsive to requests or concerns.

You had to collect coffee every morning down in reception and take it back up to the room. Carpet in the rooms weren’t vacuumed or swept daily. The breakfast offered at the hotel was not at all to the standard required by a 4 star hotel. As this was an extra charge we went elsewhere every day.

I had expected fabulous for the price. I did not expect to wait 20 minutes to see if a room was available after booking

It was clean.

It was described as close to the Waverley Station and Playhouse but it really isn’t. The twin beds were very close together.

Hôtel très bien situé en plein centre, petit déjeuner au top, et le personnel est au petit soins, j’ai bien apprécié qu’il réserve un restaurant pour notre groupe nous étions assez nombreux, ainsi que le taxi avant de partir.!!

Je pensais avoir une chambre vue sur la rue, malheureusement nous étions au sous-sol

Lovely

It was extremely clean and check in was seamless. Offered an early check in for 20 pound which was very handy because we arrived at 8am.

I would have liked a bath in the room and maybe a seated area. The room was also quite basic for the price. The hotel itself was very 4 star but the room Didn’t really feel 4 star more like a really good 3 star!

Excelente ubicación.

La ubicación es excelente. El trato del personal de recepción increíble. Hay varios chicos que hablan español. La cama bastante cómoda. Nada de frío en la habitación. El agua de la ducha bastante caliente. En general una habitación pequeñita,pero acogedora. Hay secador de pelo.

No nos cambiaron la ropa de cama,a pesar de que la primera noche se manchó. (Estuvimos tres noches) La puerta de la habitación no cerraba bien porque el pestillo se quedaba atascado. Pero lo peor fue el ruido del personal de limpieza abriendo y cerrando puertas desde las 9'00.

Pillows too hard...requested others...the same. Heating system hard to regulate. Electric socket at one side of bed only. Would love a kettle in the room.

A fresh and modern hotel

Everything looked new and not outdated

There were two fire alarms that went off during our 4 night stay. And the one time, it didn't say that it was just a check/test, so we thought it was for real until we met staff in the hallway and asked and they replied "oh no, it's just a test".. Didn't make me feel very safe and relaxed I must say. BUT! Otherwise it was a good stay :)

Volvería a quedarme en este hotel

Me gustó su ubicación, muy cerca el bus que lleva al aeropuerto, estación de tren si quieres ir a Glasgow. Personalmente me gusta que esté en la zona nueva el alojamiento si vas a Edimburgo y no en la vieja. Además, tiene café, té y agua gratis que se agradece. Puedes transferir a la tv lo que quieras ver ya que tiene chromecast. Tiene un enchufe como tenemos en España en el baño que es de agradecer y en la habitación tipo usb si no tienes adaptador

La cama no es muy cómoda. Está bien que se levante para leer o ver la tv, pero para dormir es dura y las almohadas también bastante duras.

Edimburgo con encanto

Estaba a 15 minutos andando del centro de la ciudad, pero al lado de la zona comercial. Gracias a Inar, que nos facilitó el momento de llegada. Instalaciones muy limpias.

Un día, se les pasó limpiar la habitación, pero nos ofrecieron cambio de toalla y tomar lo que quisiéramos en cafetería.

just ok , no parking nearby which meant taxis all the time

no room in the bedroom to work on a laptop and Air con was so annoying despite repeated attempts to shut it down
