Close to gunung pulai. Jenieie was amazing in her hospitality. She answered all our questions and clarified doubts. She offered suggestions for our change of plans when we couldn't do our hike as planned. She's kind and very sweet about the whole situation. She took time out to bring us to a place for breakfast.
The place has 3 rooms in a house. Decorated in a very homey manner.
Everything was great

Location is great. 80 meters from my brother's place (whose wedding we're attending), so appreciate the proximity. We mainly used Jean's place for sleeping only. Jean's place is thankfully free from traffic, and we always could get Grab cars easily, and we were also able to travel to Putuo Village, Man Ting Fang Restaurant, Lian Pang Cake Shop, Mural Art street, in about 10 min of grab car commute. Our hardest journey was to IOI mall at Kulai central, but that was because of evening traffic and nothing to do with Jean's location.
The place was clean and comfortable. We took Jean's largest room, so it was (needless to say)...spacious for my family of 3 adults and 2 toddlers. Jean keeps her place immaculate and it is no easy feat, maintaining such a big place, keeping things in exact places, decorating her place for the upcoming Xmas and CNY occasion, keeping her garden lush, etc...It really pleases my OCD bone and my green-thumb during my stay. In the living room, my kids enjoyed Jean's rocking horse, and I enjoyed looking out over Jean's garden (a squirrel even visited her garden this morning). Future guests do take care of the place. We noticed that one of her rocking chairs has a loose leg rest, probably because of a heavier guest before us...haha
Also appreciate her water dispenser (we topped up our 5 water bottles daily before setting out). Jean also kindly has body wash, shampoo, and Darlie toothpaste in our toilet. We brought our toiletries, but we should really pack lighter when we visit her place next. Jean even provided a hair dryer for us so that we could dry our daughter's hair properly.
Oh, and our thanks to Jeans for her gift when we parted this morning (future guests pls don't take this for granted. We got Jean some snacks from Macau and she probably felt obliged).
Booking.com writes that our room has a mountain view. Technically, the houses opposite block some of the view but we really couldn't care less as view is unimportant to us. Future guests can go out to the balcony if they want more view, but we were too lazy, especially as the latch is a bit rusty and hard to dislodge from the hole in the floor.
A previous guest complained about the water pressure, but we found it adequate. Just remember to turn the two white dials on the heater fully to the right, and the top silver dial on the wall fully to the left (IMPORTANT), then it will be fine. The heater hums but that is because the motor inside is suctioning water up to the 2nd floor to bolster the pressure. Jean can't install a pump on the ground floor to push the water up as the push pressure may spoil her internal piping.
I think the main trouble we had was keys. We needed 3 keys (I cannot elaborate for security reasons). It would be good if the keys were labelled and if unnecessary keys were removed from the bunch, so that we can go in and out faster. This is not Jean's problem, but just a suggestion. We're probably too used to fingerprint/card/combination digital locks...haha
Our biggest regret was not being to spend more time in Jean's place as our schedule was too hectic...sighs

The water pressure is very low. Very disappointing. Feedback provided to the host and hope the issue can be resolved and there is already many comments on the issue and seems like no actions so far.

The owner Jenieie is so nice and warm, she let us be "free" at her house. We took the "master" bedroom for 3 person stay but practically feels like we took the whole house. :)
She even introduced and serve us various Chinese tea, and shared her knowledge on the benefits on each tea. She even recommended us to all the local food and locations. The location is very clean, secure and safe.
She even allowed us check out late knowing that we will be hiking in the morning and coming back late. She even brought tea for us to bring home.
High recommended.
