We do not have lake access. No Smoking in Cottage/Porches/Patios, NO pets/animals or visiting pets/animals on property. NO exceptions. No Smoking, No trailers or anything in tow. Short Rental Agreement sent from owner. Photo ID required. We strongly advise purchasing Travel insurance that is offered during checkout. Contact VRBO with any questions regarding the policy. We strictly adhere to our cancellation policies. 100% refund if canceled 30 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled 14 days before arrival date. Late checkin/early checkout are nonrefundable. Any adjustments will fall under same refund policies. $25 charge for no-shows. Holiday Cancellation Policy; Reservations including; New Years Eve/Day, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve/Day. A quiet, relaxing place you'll long remember as the perfect get-away. Our Country Cottages have been a long time vacation destination for those wishing to get away from it all! Redbud Retreat has 1 King Bedroom, 1 en-suite Bath and pullout queen couch. Fully equipped kitchens, small appliances, dishes, cookware and utensils. Stainless appliances, Range, Microwave oven and refrigerator. Washer/dryer. Fireplace with remote Gas Logs (oct-march). Private outdoor area with propane grill. 40" HDTV in living room and bedroom, DVD, Free Premium Channels, Free Parking and Free WiFi. All linens and towels provided. Central Air and Heat for year round comfort. Front Porch with amazing lake and mountain views. Please do not hesitate to contact us with additional questions or concerns. Lake Chatuge where Georgia meets North Carolina. 130 miles of shoreline, provides an excellent fishing, swimming, boating and water sports playground. Hike the many area trails, enjoy scenic drives, and relax near beautiful waterfalls. The nearby Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers offer kayaking and whitewater rafting adventures. Ride horses and mine for gems. Several area courses offer golfing and tennis. Visit the crafts fairs, shop for antiques, browse the flea markets, and enjoy the area festivals, including the Georgia Mountain Fair and Oktoberfest. Ride the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad. Visit the world-famous Smokey Mountain National Park. Enjoy the Cherokee Indian Museum and Oconaluftee Indian Village. Try your luck at the Reservation Casino. Take a class, or visit, the John C. Campbell Folk School. Visit Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia or - just site back and enjoy the cool breezes and relaxing atmosphere.

Wonderful cabin and setting in a wooded community and beautiful view of the lake from the front porch. Enjoyed our coffee there ea morning , even though it was About 35 degrees outside.

My husband and I stayed here while on a trip up to hear music at the Hiawassee Fairgrounds. The house was a great choice for us. The view was great and the area was peaceful and quiet. We would enjoy staying here again.

The view of the lake was nice. The house was very basic but it fit our needs for somewhere to sleep while visiting Hiawassee. Bed wasn't comfortable but could be just not what I am used to.

Had a great getaway! We didn't end up staying at the redbud #63....ended up at #30 instead. A little snafu at the beginning but the property manager Audra was very responsive!!! Cabin number 30 is beautiful and has a great view of the lake. Very roomy. Felt very comfortable for these last two nights! We will definitely keep this cabin in mind for return trips!!

Our stay was perfect. The house was very clean, the wifi worked well and we so enjoyed sitting on the front porch to enjoy the lake view and the cool breezes. This is my second stay at this little group of four cabins and I will be back!

I tend to be very critical and cleanliness and upkeep when I stay at a VRBO rental. The absolute only thing I could find and this house that wasn’t up to snuff was the shower curtain which just needed to be replaced. Five stars to the property owner and to the cleaning team for a job well done. The home was very relaxing and the interior was nicely decorated. It was not overdone or exotic like a lot of homes tend to be. Bottom line is we would definitely stay there again.

Audra was my host she was very attentive, responsive, helpful with local stores that were sought by customer and even though the information was previously provided via email she would text it to me when I needed it preventing me the hassle trying to find it. The hummingbird feeder with the hummingbirds actively coming to it was the best part about my stay - the view coming in a close second! 🤗

The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and had many modern features. There is a partially obstructed but pleasant view of the lake + distant mountains from the front porch. Several cabins/homes are clustered together; it took us a few minutes upon arrival to figure out which one was ours, but no problems after that. We spent most of our stay doing activities away from the cabin, but the environment was generally pretty quiet during our time inside. Overall a great visit; we'd definitely stay here again!

We had no major issues with this cottage. It was nice and as advertised. The view was spectacular. The only issues was the internet signal was unreliable. Also, a better shower head would have been nice. But past that it was a wonderful experience.

I had another very relaxing time in what feels like a home away from home. Always clean, great location with an outstanding sunset view. I love this little cabin.

The house was great, view was beautiful. On the morning of departure, the power went out around 5:30 am. No showers, no coffee, no breakfast, I have yet to hear from the property manager and it is 9:30 pm. While this was not a life or death issue, we just had to handle it, I’m not sure I would rent from this person again.
