Highly recommended for a stay near the tea plantations, in Munnar area

The place is wonderful ! so amazing ! The landscape is gorgeous and the view from the rooms are absolutely delightful ! Benny and his family are so nice. The breakfast is amazing too ! Benny arranged everything for us : taxi, visit of tea plantations. Everything was absolutely perfect ! Nice swimming pool. a very pleasant and quiet place

Perfect stay

Stunning accommodation with spectacular views and a lovely host family. Became ill in the early hours of the morning and Benny & Ben couldn't do enough after taking me to hospital and making sure I was ok. Breakfast cooked by Sheeja was spectacular and the young daughter Sceva was a delight. Benny has lots of useful local tips to make sure your trip is the best it can be.

Amazing!

Immersed in the jungle, amazing views. Feel within home but plenty of your own space. Nice balcony to enjoy the surroundings. Benny is super attentive he arranged dinner for us to be delivered to his house, sorted a driver to take us around Munnar and arranged for us to go to a local dance show. His daughter is also super cute and showed us her kittens!

Very good

Friendly and welcoming family. Incredible greenery, fruit trees and spices, fabulous views. Very relaxing. Delicious breakfasts.

You need to plan to eat out for lunch and dinners, or you can have them delivered.

Me and my family had the most wonderful, happy, memorable, and enjoyable stay at Sceva’s Garden Home. Thank you so much

The best place we have visited so far! We loved the mesmerizing scenery that combed the house pool, surrounding lush greenery and the green mountains far beyond touching the clouds! If you are not used to it you will keep starting at it :). Well designed rooms with very comfortable bed with attached bathroom. The opportunity of having traditional experience of eating at a sweet home in Kerala is another thing we loved, I just don’t have the word to describe the authentic mouth-watery Indian breakfast we had there - hats off to the mom of the house, the Master Chef. Benny, the house owner, and Ben, the elder son were so humbly attentive all the time, Benny knows all the site-seeing spots by heart, yes, he can literally draw a tour map and guide through it depending on one’s preferences. Last but not the least, our 10 year old daughter was very lucky to make a new best friend there too, Ms. Sceva, yes the house is named after her in case you noticed it, and she is the most sweet and kind kid. I can go on but there is just no words to describe all of them here. So all I can say is that me and my family had the most wonderful, happy, memorable, and enjoyable stay at Sceva’s Garden Home. Thank you so much for making our stay so good! We will definitely try to come back in not too distant future.

A memorable stay at this Amazing place.

The view from the room is spectacular. The forests, mountains, waterfalls, clouds and sunrise etc can be viewed from the balcony. And watching rare birds and listening to their sounds in the morning lifts your spirits up. Loved the comfy bed. The Pool was great. The homely food was delicious. Mr.Benny was very helpful is choosing the best venue for sight seeing and also drawing a map of the route for better understanding. I will be coming back to this Homestay, for sure.

The breakfast could have been served a bit earlier.

A perfect vacation place in Adimaly.

Cordial hosts, a beautiful home, surrounded by a huge and amazing garden. The view from the balcony is very nice. So many greeneries helped us to unwind and relax. While Benny, the host, showed us the perfect hospitality and helped us to plan the local sightseeing itinerary, our chauffeur cum guide Biju helped us to make the trip more memorable with his immense knowledge of the place. His ever-smiling and calm personality will be missed.

Beautiful stay and people

Such an incredible family, beautiful rooms, amazing pool and view and wonderful breakfast. Everyone was so friendly in the town and we met locals and played a two day soccer tournament. Great location to relax, swim and unwind.

Booking description says there is a restaurant, but there is not. However, breakfast is included in the stay and snack stores nearby. The family will help you order dinner for you from local restaurants.

What a fantastic place to stay! Can't recommend it more highly. The view from the room is quite simply awesome and we decided to spend a full day around the property just to soak it up. The room was comfortable and clean. Benny and his family are really welcoming and helpful and made us feel at home. Breakfasts were amazing - the best of our two-week trip in India and different each morning! They also help you to order food from the town by tuktuk in the evenings. Benny has great experience in organising tours of the area and planned us an incredible day out with Robin, our fantastic driver for the day. We were lucky to take a wonderful scenic route back from Munnar on Benny's recommendation that was really special.

Be aware that the property is some distance from Munnar, but the town (Adimali) had all the amenities we needed and our day out was wonderful - don't let it put you off!

beautiful views and pool & great hospitality

The view is absolutely breath taking!!! beautiful surroundings, lovely sunrise from the balcony. pool is lovely and cold to dip in at the end of the day. the breakfast was delicious & benny was the perfect host arranging day trips and drivers for us to Munnar. the bedroom was also amazing such a comfy bed !!

It would have been nice to have a dinner option, since the property is a drive away from the local town.

Stunning views, beautiful spice garden, a gorgeous homestay.

Our favourite stay during our time in India. A beautiful homemade breakfast, stunning views out every window, and a warm welcome hosted by Benni. He helped us with everything from ordering takeaway dinner on our first night, to planning our onward journey. Couldn't recommend more!

The guesthouse was perfect! I would warn travellers that the Munnar area is quite big, so the travel times are long especially since the guesthouse isn't directly in the tea garden district.

A lovely homestay with wonderful hosts and stunning views

The most appealing aspect about Sceva's are the hosts, who are very welcoming, helpful and personable. Benny helped us organise our two-day stay there and we were very happy with all his recommendations. We visited a tea factory, went on a beautiful walk in the tea gardens and even saw wild elephants. On our last day, Benny gave us a tour of the property's garden with its countless spices, fruit and flowers, which was a real treat. The view from the property is stunning and our room was very comfortable.

Just two very minor things which, in our opinion, could be improved. We were slightly surprised that we had to ask for our room to be cleaned as we were expecting this to be part of the service. So maybe the policy should be made clearer or there should be the usual "Please clean my room" signs. In addition, it would be nice to have an outdoor area, in addition to one's balcony, to have dinner.

Amazing host, benny gave us great advice on things to do around munnar. Thanks to him we did a scenic and not touristy ride with our bikes at the Munnar hills! Lovely family, would definitely recommend to stay at this homestay!!

Friendly homestay in the countryside with all the comforts of a luxury resort!

We loved our stay at Sceva's, and were warmly welcomed by Benny and his lovely family. The house is in a beautiful location outside of Munnar with great views of the mountains and a slightly warmer climate than the hill stations. The traditional breakfast was delicious and the wooden room that we stayed in had a beautiful balcony and was spotlessly clean and stocked with all the necessities. We really enjoyed walking around the gardens with Benny, who kindly told us all about the different plants he is growing and let us try lots of the fruits! Thank you!

Nothing, but it is worth having a car as there are few restaurants within walking distance.

A wonderful couple of days!

Lots! - Clean room with AMAZING view - Beautiful surroundings - Great breakfast - The family made us feel so at home, gave tips on what to do, order food, helped us to organise transport around the area and car to our next location - It was lovely to get to know Sceva (daughter of the owners) and play some games!

Overall it was a great experience at stay. Host helped us a lot in reaching the stay. Complimentary breakfast was great. View of mountains from room's bed and balcony is amazing. We used the pool available in stay as well. It was fun. Apart from this, host gave a good amount of options nearby that we can explore during our stay there. One can also get help for cab/auto to explore the suggested places if required. Host also helped us in booking a cab to airport during our checkout. I can recommend this place to anyone for a nice peaceful vacation.

Located in the hills with amazing views of the mountains. Benny our host and his family were lovely. Helped us with advise about the local area and arranging tuk tuks from the property. The homemade food was delicious. We had breakfast and dinner on one night and it was a feast. Our stay was so quiet and relaxing.

We first thought we booked a hotel, but it appeared to be an amazing Homestay. Benny's hospitality and his wife's cooking are out of this world. Allthough its not near Munnar, the area itself is beautiful as well and the views from the room are magic.

A beautiful hideaway that offers great food, stunning views and adventures.

I had a really great stay at this lovely hideaway, which is hidden on a hillside near Adimali. The lush green surrounding is accompanied by a diverse fauna which invites to observe and enjoy. Benny and his family ensured a pleasant stay and were beyond helpful with organizing trips to the beautiful spots around Adimali and Munnar. The offered food was outstanding and the accomodation itself was spotless clean and provided an exceptional view towards the opposite mountainside. I can highly recommend this homestay for all those, who are looking for a calm oasis from which to explore the area and dive into the beauty of the west ghats.

Comfortable stay in wooden cabin room with a a blissful view of mountains through the window. The swimming pool is clean and great fun for a group

welcoming and relaxed with genuinly hospitable owners

The hosts are fabulously welcoming and ensure that your needs are met as far as is possible. The food is plentiful and exceptionally tasty- all fresh from their own land and gardens. The pool is small but a great place to sit and enjoy the views and refresh oneself. Benny also organised a great driver who spoke good English and looked after us superbly during our stay.
