The Anna Maria Island Beach Shack is within walking distance to the beach but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of beach traffic and other vacationers. The home sits between the Gulf beaches and Anna Maria Sound, but is truly in the middle of everything Anna Maria Island has to offer. Free Trolley rides (every 20 minutes) allow easy travel through out the island to restaurants/bars and historic sights. The home sits between the Gulf beaches and Anna Maria Sound, but is truly in the middle of everything Anna Maria Island has to offer. Free Trolley rides (every 20 minutes) allow easy travel through out the island to restaurants/bars and historic sights. Located in the city of Bradenton Beach, which has a smaller more private beach in comparison to others nearby. We are also within walking distance to the bay which offers a baseball and basketball court, playground, and a small area to launch canoes or kayaks. The elevated property has been lovingly restored boasting a full kitchen with standard size stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. There are flat-screen TVs in every room and free wireless high-speed internet access throughout the house. Property exterior is monitored by security cameras. Guest agrees to abide by all house rules on our property information page. Maximum occupancy includes children and infants. Two vehicle maximum per unit, no RVs, campers, or trailers. Pets considered, but require written approval, aggressive breads will not be considered. Pets will be charged per stay. Service animals do not require a fee, but Emotional Support animals will require this fee, if a Service animal is to be on the trip we will require to know what skill or task the service animal has been trained to perform. Guest agrees to pay all costs and expenses, as determined in the sole judgment of the Property Manager, of repair or replacement for any and all damages of whatever origin or nature which may have occurred during the term of the stay. Property exterior is monitored by security cameras.

We can fully recommend the Ami Beach Shack. At the beginning upon arrival we got all information needed via Text message. Very helpful! The property is amazing. Well equipped, clean and near the beach and the bay. Thank you for good service!

The AMI Beach Shack had everything we needed for a girls' beach weekend including beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. The location was great, just three blocks to a beautiful beach and a short trolley ride to restaurants and shopping. The Shack itself has been completely redone and is clean, comfortable and cute. The Vacationado hosts were easy to reach when we had questions and communicated quickly. We enjoyed our stay here!

The entire experience, from booking, to checking-in, to checking-out has been smooth sailing. The property itself is perfectly sized for a family, with two sizable beds; the couch bed is comfortable enough that my children often preferred sleeping there. The laundry room has a generous assortment of beach equipment and the shaded patio is perfect for doing some grilling and enjoying a few beers out of the heat. If you've never been to AMI before, the location is ideal: adjacent to a free trolley stop (useful for going places with limited parking, such as Bridge Street stores), close to the supermarket, pharmacy, and the main bridge on/off the island (for day trips), while also being in a quiet residential neighborhood near a playground. Lelia and Justin were welcoming, helpful and prompt in their communications. Highly recommended.

We are a family of 5 + dog. This place has two bedrooms and ample space for all 5 of us. The sunrise can be seen from the deck, and the walk to the beach is so short ( ocean side and less then a 2min walk), and from that side you can watch the sunsets. The house has all sorts of amenities for convenience (i.e grilling utensils, baking utensils, quick dry towels for the beach). Evenings (sleeping specifically), beds are comfy. However, due to the stress on the AC, the house can only be cooled to 72, which is not the ice box we enjoy at home so if you have a personal fan, I'd bring it as the house is not equipped with ceiling fans. The yard is not fenced in so if you do bring your dog take note of that as the locals (neighbor next door) is a pest when it comes to pets. She didn't ruin our enjoyment of the home, but for future renters, she is a bit aggressive and will not hesitate to complicate your stay. Vacationado and specifically Lelia Smarte was very easy to work with and very professional. I would definitely stay here again as the house is cute and Vacationado was very accommodating. I'm giving it a 5star as it came as advertised and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We recently stayed at the AMI Beach Shack The unit was very clean upon arrival. The location was great, a very short walk to the beach and the Free Trolley stop! We were very comfortable here, there were 3 adults but 4 would have worked too! The beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for cooking if you choose to do so. The dishwasher doesn’t work too well but if you rinse all dishes really well it’s ok. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for use during your stay which came on quite handy as we flew down. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This property was really perfect for our group of 1 adult and 4 teens. It was very clean and had everything one would need , whether you wanted to cook or go to the beach. Speaking of the beach , a very short walk across the street and you are right there!! There was also easy access to the local free trolley that can take you up and down Anna Maria. We loved this place and highly recommend the whole area !

This is a sweet beach house that met the basic needs for our family. I was super impressed with how clean the property was given the sandy nature of the area. The location is very near the public beach and a small playground. The shopping area and restaurants were about a 20-30 minute walk, and it was nice to be able to get around without a car. I didn’t realize that the home actually has two units, with this one being on the front. We were able to hear the other renters but it wasn’t overly disruptive, and the property does offer a degree of separation in the shared spaces. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Response to my questions were answered very quickly. Very Clean and Well stocked with everything we needed. Close to everything and very peaceful. Looking forward to another stay at this fine getaway. Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen.

AMI Beach Shack
Great house and perfect for our girls trip (2 of us). The house was in a great location, quiet neighborhood, super short walk to the beach, and the home was really clean. They supplied everything we needed for the week in regard to paper products, beach going gear, laundry and dish soap. That made our stay much easier. We enjoyed sitting on both to top deck and bottom, walking to restaurants or nearby shopping and of course the beautiful beach. We spent every day at the beach. You'll love the beautiful sand and water. Can't wait to visit again!

The listing says it has two bathrooms, there is one full bathroom, a half bathroom and an outdoor shower. My only recommendation would be to list that it doesn’t have two actual showers in the unit.

Beach House review
Had a wonderful 2 weeks at this property. Comfortable and clean with short walk to beautiful Bradenton Beach. A lot of nice and thoughtful touches. Updated. We truly enjoyed the two weeks and will definitely be looking to rent this same site next year.

Amazing beach shack experience
If you are searching for a marvelous beach condo this place is for you. The AMI beach shack was accurately photographed in the posting and went above and beyond in beach equipment as the household items. The shack was very spacious with two options for outdoor seating. The shack is under a 2 minute walk from the beach. This place is a great deal! We will for sure be staying at the AMI when we return to Anna Maria Island.

Another wonderful stay!
This is our second time renting the Beach Shack and it did not disappoint. The location is fantastic. The house provides everything you need to be comfortable. Beach chairs, kids toys and extras are available if needed. The downstairs patio/grill area is clean and a great place to hang out. I can't wait to come back again.

Great location, property needs some TLC but it works
Ok stay, property could use some TLC. Ok responsiveness, but I have had quicker. Beds were terribly uncomfortable, everything was just ok. Good place to stay if you want something affordable.

Awesome little property for what you pay and definitely wouldn't mind returning. I'm very familiar with Anna Maria since I've visited there several times so I knew it was a nice neighborhood in advance. The quality of the property definitely surprised me; very clean, very organized, had absolutely everything we needed. I'd say our favorite part was the little patio underneath the house, great place to just chill. We had initially intended on having two more people come with us (total of 4 guests) but our friends bailed on the trip. The place was small enough that we didn't feel we wasted the money to have extra room but definitely would have been comfortable with 4 adults. We rented a car to drive in from Tampa but once we got to the island we walked just about everywhere except for when we went to Mote. It's only a 1.5 mile walk or so to the main roundabout on Anna Maria. My boyfriend and I are very comfortable putting in 5-7 miles of walking each day though so it might not be everyone's cup of tea.A few words of caution though - we were the only renters in the duplex for 3 our of 4 of our nights. The night before we flew out the other unit had guests arrive in the evening. We could hear their comings and goings quite clearly and I would not say they were being overly loud at all. I was fine with it but I still felt that I needed to be very quiet for the rest of the night and the morning before checkout. I didn't want to disturb them. If I could hear their activity, I'm sure they could certainly hear ours. I would say it's probably not the best place to rent if you A) are not interested in being overly mindful of how much noise you are making throughout the day B) have very young children

Girl's Getaway
The property was as pictured and described, however, the 250 steps to the water was to the bay, not the gulf beach. The unit needs more silverware, hand towels and a cookie sheet. There was mildew on an outside table. The unit was very relaxing and roomy enough for more than the 3 of us. We would consider staying there again.
