Situated in Alto, this attractive cabin for $324 per night is a great choice for your next trip. You and your guests are sure to enjoy a visit to this well-appointed two bedroom, two bathroom log home with a loft. The access is generally level, on a paved road to the graveled parking area that is big enough for up to three vehicles. Cozy up by the fireplace or spend the evening soaking in the private hot tub. The first thing you'll notice when you arrive at Wine and Pines cabin are the large wrap-around covered decks. A private hot tub awaits on the southwest corner and on the west deck, along with three gorgeous, hand-carved wooden rockers. This is the spot to kick back and relax watching the deer wander by among the pinon, juniper, and tall ponderosa pine trees. Inside, a spacious open floor plan is appointed with comfortable seating, leather furniture, two plush loungers, and two sofas situated around the rock fireplace and TV. On the far side of this great room is a dining table with plenty of room for six people and a well-stocked kitchen, complete with plenty of prep space and modern appliances. Both bedrooms are on the same, ground-floor level, with the queen bed guest room on the right and the master suite with a king-sized bed and private bathroom on the left. In each bedroom, two walls are painted and two are finished in tongue-and-groove pine. The master bathroom has a beautifully tiled shower, and the shared bath offers a standard shower. If needed, the loft provides extra sleeping space, with two twin beds. This beautiful log home has lots of charm and is located in a very peaceful location. It's the perfect spot to use as a home base for Ruidoso's many local activities or to just settle in and relax at the property. Your hot tub will be clean and hot, ready to use when you arrive. The turn-off to Ski Apache is less than five minutes away, and the shopping and restaurants of downtown Ruidoso are just 10 minutes to the south. Pets and smoking are prohibited at Wine and Pines cabin. Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. 4x4 or chains may be required during winter months to access your home.

The property was nestled on a hillside and we were able to see elk, mule deer and wild horses from the porch.

We really enjoyed this property! It is in a great location yet still feels secluded by the way that the house sits behind the trees. Very quiet neighborhood, great for kids. Deer often visited the property.

There were no clear directions where to dump the trash. The sound bar was inoperative. The cleaning crew was a bit uncooperative concerning where to take our trash.

What a great stay. We relaxed and played golf with friends. The wives shopped and relaxed and we played golf. Great time. We had a problem with the grill and maintenance took care of that for us. Very friendly. We appreciate the quick response. Thank you

This was a very nice, well appointed home. The space and layout was perfect for us, our two kids and my parents. A main draw was NO STAIRS to enter, and two nice recliners for older parents to enjoy. The kids loved the hot tub, which had a beautiful mountain sunset view. Also, the management company was very easy to work with!

We really enjoyed the cabin. Great location and views!! Loved the deck and rocking chairs. Loved the hot tub. Few downsides were ants in the bathroom, a few lamp switches were broken, the bed was comfortable but needs deep mattress sheets as the current fitted sheet slides off easily. But overall, it was a great stay!!!

We enjoyed our stay very much! great location, awesome view, comfy bed and close to town if an errand is needed. Wifi was down our whole trip which didn't allow us to enjoy streaming apps after the sun was down but minor issue when in the mountains. The keyless entry acted up on us one night but the after hours help was more than helpful and got us in. overall a fantastic stay and a great getaway from our normal in West Texas. Thank you for sharing your home!

The management never actually responded to my question that was sent on the VRBO app before my arrival which made it to where I had to change my plans for the trip. However when we got there it was a beautiful area, a beautiful home. Would recommend for a small family vacation 😊👌🏻

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was the perfect location and just as pictured. The porch and view cannot be beat. We had so much wildlife visit us and it was the best spot to sip coffee on the porch and enjoy the hot tub. Everything in the cabin was cozy and nice. There were a couple chairs at the table that need fixing. They were really wobbly. The only thing I wasn’t 100% happy with was the check in process. you have to go to their office to pick up a packet instead of being able to just go straight to the cabin. Since we arrived after hours we had to make a trip over there the next day to do the check in process when we really didn’t want to load up and go anywhere. I’ve never had to do that before when getting a vrbo so that was new to me. The trash code that was given to us was not correct but we were able to call and get the right one and they apologized. Over all I highly recommend and enjoyed our stay here.

The cabin was great for our family of 4! Hot tub worked well and the kitchen had everything to be able to cook all our meals. The fireplace was great and the bonus loft room was perfect for the kids. This is in a neighborhood so we weren't isolated but it was still a great retreat. Only downfall was the neighbors dogs barked all the time.

Overall great stay. Very quiet neighborhood. Saw wildlife of deer, fawns, & the wild horses. Only a few quirks. Deck was not clean. Drawer face was off one of kitchen drawers. Kitchen sink had a bad smell when washing dishes.

The property was clean and well kept. The thing I loved the most was that it was open and spacious. Most places that say they sleep six or more will have limited seating then in the living areas where six or more people are not comfortable. There was plenty of seating aside from the sleep areas. As a large family that was a huge plus. The wrap around porch was amazing. Our first day there a herd of wild horses came to visit. Check in and check out were simple and hassle free. I would not only recommend this place, but if we return to Ruidoso it is where I would stay again.
