Amazing place and location. Highly recommend

Such a beautiful place to stay. Cottage was very spacious and decorated very well to make it feel homely. Loved the alpacas roaming free and the friendly possums that came onto the verandah for dinner every night.

Wanted to stay longer!

A wonderful experience

No meals included, but the property has a great kitchen to prepare meals and it included items as coffee, sugar, tea, oil, salt. It is place for solicitude and peace. Some books and games if someone is interested. The closeness to nature is awesome, the sounds and sights of the birds a great experience. Even you can see alpacas in the property.

Perhaps to have an extra toilet and mirror in each bedroom. But that is just being a little bit wingy, but overall the property is excellent. I could visit it again, the surrounding areas are spectacular.

The location, whilst a fair way into the bush, was perfect. Quiet but for the constant chatter of birdlike. Tha cabin is luxurious...and no TV or phone reception. Perfect for a getaway. The bloke looking after the grounds etc was very friendly and accommodating. We did see a couple of Tiger Snakes but as soon as reported he had the repellent up and running. The walks are challenging but worth it.

The most relaxing/ peaceful getaway you’ll ever experience.

Tall Trees Eco Resort far exceeded our expectations. It’s clear the owners care about their guest’s experience during their stay and over deliver on the goods. Every little detail was well thought out, from bird feed for the local parrots to extra blankets for the cooler evenings. It felt like a home away from home immediately and there was no better feeling than sitting on the porch watching wildlife happen around ourselves. if you’re looking to disconnect from technology and get in tune with nature, look no further than Tall Trees.

Beautiful rainforest hideaway!

Brilliant location in the rainforest. Lovely, warm and comfortable house. Lovely host as well. Glow-worms right at the back door. Beautiful drive alongside a creek to get to the property.

a fantastic cozy romantic stay.

I loved the smell of the fireplace, coziness of the rooms. the birds playing on the balcony, the glow worm walk literally meters away outside and the walk to the top of the hills (minus the leeches, but still a great view).

only minor complaint is that it took a lot of effort to get the fire going, the wood was a bit wet and required a lot of fire starters to get going.

Relaxing among Australian nature

The location was the most wonderful and relaxing location I've ever stayed. The ferns were incredible. The glow worms were an amazing highlight. The wildlife and alpacas were lovely. I will definitely return. The log fire on a cold day was perfect. The views from the balcony of the cabin were stunning.

Nice Relaxing Stay with family.

beautiful cottages, very well maintained, all facilities available, good for digital detoxing and spend quality time with friends and family. private alpacas in the property will give you a morning visit. fresh air. A perfect spot to reconnect with your soul and value yourself and close one’s with you.

Gates to open and close every time you enter and exit the estate - may be a better way to protect animals. Recommendation- aim to enter the property before dusk. it’s always safe if your not used to pitch dark inside Otway national park without service network. View is Ok not that spectacular from the cottage just long trees from the balcony, actually, we stayed at another place inside Otway national park with open landscape with tall trees around and kangaroos during dawn and dusk comes near your cottage, however, every place has its own beauty.

the rainforest location and the birds; the kitchen was very well equipped; everything was beautiful and comfortable; lovely to sit by the fire … we thought it was wonderful!

Beautiful, peaceful and well worth the visit.

[Sorry to Tall Trees that this review is SO late, we stayed here back in May!] Gorgeous place, the surrounds are absolutely stunning and it's so peaceful and quiet. The house itself is very neat and tidy and we really enjoyed that there was a fireplace instead of a telly. We used the map to go on a really lovely loop walk around the immediate area and saw plenty of tiny mushrooms, llamas and beautiful views! We'd love to come back with more time to spend than just the weekend. Fair warning to those that can't be without a phone - reception will drop out going up the hill and you won't get it back until you're most of the way back to Apollo Bay. We enjoyed the phone detox but some may not.

No dislikes! Everything was lovely. We would have enjoyed bigger/more powerful heaters in the main room and bathroom to get us by until the fire had warmed the place up, but we get cold easily so this may not be applicable to everyone.
