Our stay was average.

I liked that the room came with everything it said it would.

I was dissatisfied with the cleanliness standards, which could be significantly enhanced. The kitchen appliances were notably unclean, exemplified by the rusty, foul-smelling microwave. Additionally, the kettle leaked, and there was mold in the bathroom. The overall appearance of the place suggested it could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The bed was not refreshed during my stay, and while I typically tidy up before leaving, I expected the sheets to be dusted and the bed to be remade, rather than simply left as I left it. The cleanliness of the sheets fell short of my expectations, with noticeable yellow stains here and there, although I understand it's not a hotel. Furthermore, the rugs beside the beds were filthy. Overall, I found the cleanliness level lacking, particularly with the kitchen appliances, leaving me unimpressed.

Nice Business Stay

Safe parking. Clean and spacious. Close to the beach and nice neighbourhood.

There is a busy road at the back of property with some road noise. The patio door didn’t want to lock at times.

Safe, neat and amenities good. Management was helpful. Well maintained. Place smelled fresh and balcony was perfect.

Just close to freeway so it at times is a bit noisy otherwise all was good. Maybe also sofa bed needs to be updated.

I enjoyed my stay at Casa Ridge. The room that we booked is like a studio apartment with kitchenette, longue and bedroom area as well as a nice size bathroom. The layout is convenient and very comfortable. The room is very clean. It's definitely a home away from home. Casa Ridge is situated close to the Umhlanga Beach and restaurants and the area is peaceful.

We were very happy with the apartment which is situated close to the Hub of Umhlanga. It was peace

Great value, location and staff, room 3 needs some attention.

We chose the cheapest room option (Room 3 probably their smallest) which will reflect on our review. Having said that we thought it was great value. The whole team from the owners through to the gardener, were friendly and helpful and made our holiday a joy. The pool was kept in a very condition, it was almost situated by our door and we used it daily. The room was well equipped, with a comfortable bed and very effective air-con.

The room is on the small side (hence cost) therefore a little cramped. The sofa/bed was very uncomfortable as a sofa, thinish cushions and it wobbled, we didn't use it at all. The bathroom was 'tired' and worn. The bath, which housed the shower was very narrow and made showering for a large person very difficult and the shower screen may as well have not been there, the seal to the bath was non-existent and the water pooled on the floor (I did inform the owner of this)

Beautiful place, super friendly hosts, very helpful housekeeper, all is up to standard.

Everything about the accommodation is up to standard. Based on some comments, there are varying degrees of tolerance when it comes to the standard of the place. However, some comments are very harsh and don't reflect the true character of the place.

Although Mama Marvis could be more consistent with cleaning times, it's not a big deal, she'll make it up to you.
