Nice and busy week in Heidelberg in an almost perfect place

Very nice appartment, cozy, very well distributed and well equipped. Large main room and fairly big kids room. The living room well equipped, confortable with a big TV and nice offer of TV programms. Kitchen well equipped with everything that can be needed. We missed nothing and we really felt like home. Location is perfect to reach every place in Heidelberg and to reach the neighbouring mountains to walk the dogs in the morning.

Furniture is functional but quite basic, hot water both in the kitchen was going in and out from hot to cold very often, no real double bed (two mattreses put together with individual duvets). Knowing that I had to pay 90 euros for my dogs for the week at the last moment wasn't pleasant (I prefer to be informed way in advance, so as to gauge my choice).

Conveniently located apartment in a nice area; supermarket and restaurants nearby, pleasant walk to the old town and castle. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, good sized dining table. Easy to find a parking space within a few minutes walk of the apartment. Gian-Luca was very helpful.

It was very cold when we stayed. The heating was good, and easy to adjust, but it would have been nice to have blankets to use on the sofas and as an extra layer on the beds at night. One bedroom only had a net curtain - I prefer to have one that cuts out more light.

The appartment has a perfect location, it is close to all amenities. The host is perfect - very helpful in all detailes. We also enjoyed how clean and well organized everything was.

Enjoyable stay in Heidelberg.

Heidelberg is a charming and inspiring city which invites exploring and learning. Having a well located accommodation with all the facilities within easy reach of the city makes for a relaxing stay, for knowing one can escape to a home from home and rest after a rewarding day is reassuring.

Parking facilities are limited in the direct vicinity. But a reasonable distance away there are spaces to be found. Of course public transport is preferred and there is a tram stop a short distance away.

Lovely apartment on near the city

The host was very helpful. It was a very hot week so we asked for an extra fan and they found one for us. In general it was a lovely space for a family with comfortable beds and a little balcony. The view of the hills was also very beautiful. It is also very useful to have a playground, tram and bus stops, and a Lidl nearby.

There was a problem with the water from kitchen sink, but the host said they would look into it.

Very good value for money

The apartment is in a very good location in Heidelberg. The cleanness was in general very good. The owner was very cooperative and responsive. When we faced problems with the dishwasher and the coffee machine, he helped us promptly. Furthermore, he agreed to leave or luggage in the flat until the designated check-in time. Beds were comfortable, and the furniture and kitchen utensils were adequate. Finally, the flat was relatively safe for small kids.

The refrigerator was a bit dirty when we arrived. If windows are open, it becomes relatively noisy due to the proximity to the main street. Finally, some furniture pieces were pretty old.

Big comfortable bed. Use of a washing machine. Kitchen stuff all worked well. Good location Although the furniture had seen better days it was comfortable with a nice layout

Not that easy to find. Terrible shower. No soap even though it's the coronavirus pandemic (!) Bit shabby furnishings

Very good

Spacious apartment that is value for money. The apartment was clean. Short walk into the centre, shops and restaurants close by. On a tram and bus line.

No curtains in one of the bedrooms, luckily we had towels with us to hang over the window. Some confusion over where to park but this was easily resolved.
