For the Record, this private home is not a Bed and Breakfast, a Hotel or Motel or a Tourist Rooming House. Beautiful northwoods property on the north shore of, 1200 acre, Big. St. Germain lake. Enjoy fishing, swimming, boating (private pier), hiking, campfire. All summer and sports and relaxation. Close to horseback riding, go-karting, flea markets, deer watching, golfing and fantastic northwoods supper clubs. Three queen size beds, one full size bed, a futon and a massive very comfortable couch. Central Heating and Air Conditioning. Two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, wood fireplace, 50" smart tv and Wi-Fi. Large deck overlooking the lake, two kyacks, charcoal grill and aluminum fishing boat. Three outdoor security cameras to watch the entrances to the home for your protection and ours. Great winter fun for snow mobiles, cross country skiing. On the Bo-Boen trail. Great reviews. 5 night minimum stay April thru September. 3 night weekend getaways October thru March.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and loved it both times! Thanks for the great stay - being able to dock our fishing boat is a huge bonus! Being able to walk to Clearview Supper Club is wonderful (make sure you ask for Violet as your waitress when you make your reservation). Enjoy!

Nice house, well appointed, clean and probably new (1-3 years)

The cabin itself was nice. It was disappointing however that there was 2ft tall itch weed throughout the whole ‘swimming’ area. We were also unaware the whole lake was full of swimmers itch until all of us contracted it, one of us which was bad enough to have to seek medical attention. Apparently this lake is well known for swimmers itch and we had taken the precautions but regardless. That is not the owner’s fault, but would have been nice to know, especially since we planned to swim all week and couldn’t, and couldn’t even because of the itch weed all over. We were also told we could bring our dogs and brought our own vacuum and cleaned the place upon exit cleaner than when we arrived and we still were given a fine for ‘excessive dog hair and sand’ which then entire property is sand, it would impossible to keep clean had I not brought my vaccines. Would not stay here again.

The house was very clean and it’s right on big Saint Germain lake. What was supposed to be a snowmobile trip turned into an ice fishing trip when the weather didn’t cooperate. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Would love to stay here again.

Our family members ranged in age of 1+ to 65. The 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, good sized kitchen and living room provided us with very good accommodations. The deck with its roof has a great view and was our favorite place to hang out. It even had a nice table and 4 very comfortable chairs. The dock was a good place to tie up our boat and had a nice bench at the end for fishing. Everything was clean. We also enjoyed using the kayaks and small fishing boat. We recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place for a family vacation.

We were very happy with our stay. Do wish it had a sandy beach. We would definitely stay again if we weren't a growing family!

We really enjoyed our weeks stay at the lake home in July. The cabin was nicely decorated and clean. The mattresses were very comfortable and the house was stocked with all the kitchenware, linens and towels we needed. It accommodated 5 adults and a baby very nicely. The owners were quick to answer any questions we had before-hand and during our stay. The location was perfect with restaurants, bait, groceries, ice cream all within a short drive into town. We have already booked for next year!!

Just as described
We enjoyed our week here. Beautiful cabin, appointed nicely. Only drawback is very tight roadway to access the cabin. Came in with our 24' pontoon and with no turn around, really challenged my backing skills.

St Germain Lake House
The house was in a great location. The place was not clean and the sheets did not fit the beds. The cleaners did not do a good job before we arrived and we were definitely disappointed. In addition, when we have rented places in the past, there has always been a washer/dryer at the property. It’s hard to travel with young children and not have that option there. It was good to vacation in a new spot but would not rent this place again. The St. Germain/Minacqua area is a great family vacation spot.

Perfect Northwoods Stay
Very well appointed home with beautiful lake view. Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Great showers! Fans, linens, towels… all provided. Great location, with 2 restaurants close by. Lots of fun! I only wish winter dates were available.

Wonderful Vacation!
We all had a great time here enjoying the beautiful scenery over the lake and enjoying a campfire in the evening. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you would need. The ATV trails are great around here. We had fun "supper clubbing" for dinners. Owner is great to work with and very responsive. Would stay here again!

This cabin is lovely. Real northwoods feel with great hosts. We loved being right on the lake. The size was just right for our group of five. Fantastic access to the water for swimming and kayaks. Hosts left great detailed instructions and weee very communicative beforehand. We are definitely going to stay here again in the future.

Labor Day Weekend Stay
Very clean, The cabin is well stocked. Not lacking on any kind of pan, utensil or such. Linen stock was great. They had ceiling fans in every bedroom plus a box fan in at least 2. Which i loved cuz i skeep with a fan. Very cozy! Outside area very nice, sit on deck, or picnic table by the fire. Pull some chairs up on the dock. Very relaxing and worry free. Would stay here again!

Perfect family vacation
We had a great time on the lake - swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. This cabin is also very close to Vilas County bike trails and hiking trails of NHAL. We also enjoyed day trips to Bond Falls & Bearskin trail/Rocky Reef near Minocqua. Perfect family vacation when you need to social distance! Cabin was beautiful and lake was superb!

Wonderful family getaway!!
We had a lovely time at the cabin! Our grandma camps across the lake so it was a perfect location to be close to her! The property was beautiful and had everything we needed! Unfortunately the weather was cooler for us...but that didn’t ruin the view! The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 and my husband’s parents to join! The fishing was great right off the dock for pan fish and perfect for the little ones to swim! The only negative we would have is the mornings were bright and early without any window coverings! We would definitely stay there again!

Great Getaway!
We enjoyed our relaxing and quiet stay. We had enough room for 6 adults, 1 toddler, and 2 babies. Everything was very clean and up to date. We were able to enjoy our time in the water, relaxing on the deck, and fishing off the dock. The view from the deck is great! We were very close to several restaurants but really didn't need to leave the lake house, as we had everything we needed right there. Check in was easy and the owners were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thanks for the great stay!

Beautiful Lake House
This is a beautiful lake house. The location couldn't be better-close to restaurants, close to town, very convenient.
The house itself is new and clean. Amid this pandemic my wife was concerned. No worries-it was spotless.
I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Beautiful cottage on the lake
The view from the porch is amazing. Walking distance to a great little supper club-lake is quiet and mostly calm. Perfect for our family of 4!

Nice new cabin
We had a very nice stay at the cabin. It is very clean, modern, and new. We did need to finding parking off site as the parking area was not plowed and we needed to shovel a path in 2-3 feet of snow to the front door to get in but after that it was great.
